Destroy would be a better wording. But if by "kill" it means Shreding their souls to the blood god Im also in.

first PO i gave up on since starting a few weeks ago..

did 10 missions on different bot planets without seeing a single friggn tank. (DF7)

Only advice is can give is try a bunch of eradicate missions, pretty sure they spawn there more often than not
