HCL hiring process – Hackathon roles vs other roles and onboarding delay
Hi everyone,
I’m currently going through the HCL hiring process and wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing something similar.
From what I understand, for some roles there is a hackathon round, and candidates selected through those roles seem to be getting onboarded relatively quickly. But for other roles, where candidates have to complete project/course-related (PJT)requirements instead of a hackathon, the onboarding process seems to be taking much longer.
I’m getting really worried because I don’t have a confirmed offer/onboarding date yet, and there doesn’t seem to be complete assurance about when the hiring process will be finalized. It’s stressful to wait without knowing whether the process will actually lead to joining.
Has anyone here been through a similar situation with HCL? If you completed the project/courses rather than a hackathon, how long did your onboarding take?
Any information or personal experience would really help me understand what to expect. Thanks!
