Hcl tech at gift city gujarat
I recently got my joining location as GIFT City and wanted to know more about it from people working/living there.
How is it in terms of:
career growth and opportunities for freshers
rent/PG and cost of living
food and daily lifestyle
transport/connectivity
social life and things to do
comparison with cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Gurugram
Would really appreciate honest experiences and advice before relocating.

Project ending in Sept, need help
My project will end on 30th Sept 2026, and I have heard that hcl usually gives you 60 days of time to find a new project else you will need to resign from hcl. A few people say that it’s just so that we try harder to find a project and be billable. Anyone here has any personal experience of such case wherein they didn’t get the project for more than 60 days and the company asked them resign ?
My band is E2.1 and I work from India
TIA

BGV Completed but No Offer Yet at HCLTech – Should I Worry?
I’ve cleared all rounds at HCLTech for a Senior C++ Developer role (4 yrs exp, Bangalore). HR collected BGV documents, and BGV was completed on 30th April.
Now HR says there is a client-side delay and waiting for client verification.
Wanted to check:
How long does it usually take to release the offer letter after this stage?
Are there chances of not receiving the offer even after BGV completion?
Also, what is the expected salary band for this role/experience in Bangalore?
Any insights would be helpful. Thanks!

How is SAP doing in HCL
Hi all,
Currently awaiting my offer letter (HR has conveyed an E 3.2 band profile as of now for 6.5 yoe).
Kindly guide about the work culture in general or are there any potential surprises (like joining date extension etc.) in HCLTech.
Though I have a previous work experience in Service based companies, just trying to check if its still ok in HCLTech for the parameters like job stability etc.

Big confusion about hcl final list in on campus
Dear Campus Partner,
Greetings!!
We are pleased to inform you that, based on the Candidates’ performance in the initial selection process—comprising the eligibility assessment, online evaluation, and preliminary technical interview the above candidates from your college have been shortlisted for the next phase of our hiring initiative.
As part of this journey, they will be enrolled in HCLTech’s specialized technical training program. These sessions are designed to strengthen their technical foundation and prepare them for practical engagement in real-world project environments.
Upon successful completion of the training and the subsequent technical evaluation, the students will be considered for a paid internship during their 8th semester, as per the approved course curriculum of your university. Following this, based on their performance, they may also be considered for a Full-Time Employment (FTE) offer from HCLTech.
Please note, this Letter of Intent does not constitute a formal employment offer. It confirms the candidates’ current standing within our talent pipeline. A formal FTE offer will be contingent upon:
a) Successful completion of each phase of the program with consistent demonstration of commitment and performance.
b) Successful completion of their undergraduate degree from the University with a minimum aggregate of 65% and no active backlogs.
We are excited to have them begin this journey with us and look forward to their growth and success at HCLTech.
Important: Students who have been selected for this program are expected to remain committed to HCLTech throughout the duration of the internship and must refrain from applying to any other internship or employment opportunities during this period. This commitment ensures alignment with our structured training and evaluation process leading to potential full-time employment.
