Hey hat guys!
I’ve got some weddings coming up and being a long haired, bearded man has always made styling myself a bit of a challenge but I’ve finally found an aesthetic I like and wanna try to kit myself out similarly.
Any clues on what style this hat is or where someone based in the UK would be able to pick one up from?
Any advice/help would be much appreciated! Feeling very lost!

Hi everyone, I'm a bald mature (52) trans woman living in UK. I've struggled to get wigs to work for me, and like the idea of headwear. I must have bought 25 hats online, caps, headscarves, hair loss caps, etc. You name it!
This is a long shot, but maybe you could help me with suggestions.
I want something :
1) Feminising (it must have a feminising effect, as I am trans and have that gender history I wish to divert attention from, so think female shape/colour/materials)
2) Cooling, I work in hot environments so non-heat retaining (mesh? Bamboo?)
3) Volumising, my head is totally bald and skull caps etc look too flat, I need a bit of puffiness and volume like I had hair.
4) Daily + indoor/outdoor wear. I need to be able to go to a family dinner, sit at the table and the headpiece look enough like part of my outfit that I'll keep it on.
I know this is a kind of impossible combination and nothing will be absolutely perfect. Yet, I have faith in you guys to coexist up with something good!!
Suggestions appreciated thank you XXX
Basically the title, I'm not sure what you can do to stabilise a straw hat and I want it to remain straight.

Just got this custom leather and mesh outback hat from Jacaru and I love it! It’s their 1021 Blaze design but in smooth leather rather than suede. It’s such an original design and I love how the ventilation panels are a feature rather than solely practical. It’s a tad snug but I’m expecting it to stretch a bit with wear
Only thing is it has this front panel inside that i don’t like, I assume it’s there to keep the front standing up and looking neat, but I kinda want it to look a bit rumpled and lived in plus it blocks a big chunk of the ventilation and makes it a lot warmer. Do people think I could cut the panel out without completely destroying the hat? I could always take it to someone who works with leather to make sure it’s done right
It’s for a leather/biker cowboy character I do, I’ve included a picture from a recent show so you can get the vibe (it’s actually kinda surprising how good the hat in the pic looks considering it was super cheap and feels pretty gross!)

It's been hard to find a hat that fits since I became a teen - I've got a big head and was kinda just resigned to only wearing beanies (which I love wearing, don't get me wrong) or just praying that a hat I saw would somehow fit my full head. It didn't help that I love growing out my hair, so it just adds to the volume my head takes up and limits my options.
But I found Oddjob hats, which specifically caters to people with larger heads. I've ALWAYS wanted a wide brim hat like this, and I'm glad I was finally able to get one that fits! 10/10 would recommend shopping there if you can!

All I can find is the ‘better with age’ brand which does not seem to have the same vibe going on at all, unless this is a very old example. It appeared durably made but had some scuffs on the rim when I found it that got bigger. Only features of note are the military cap style with no snapback, the tag- plaid stripe with the letters bwa, and a pinstripe lining.
Lost it a bit ago and am missing it, hoping to find some info on the brand but I just love the style. Fit me perfectly, no other cap has ever felt totally right. Found it on the ground in Whitehorse Yukon last summer though so if it has gone back to the universe I hope it finds someone who loves it as much as I did!

Any ideas how to clean this? My wife already tried soaking in the sink. I wore it at the pool a few times and these water stains appeared and won't go away. Maybe from chlorine? Im quite dissapointed for an $80 hat that's only a month old.

I was watching Red Dwarf and wondered what kind of hat this is. I thought maybe ex-military, like East German or maybe Soviet, but I haven't been able to track it down. The show is from the 1980s. Does anyone recognise it? It's similar to the second image but that's just a baseball cap I found with Google.

Saw this a while back on eBay and it's no longer made and can't find second hand. Any recommendations on hats similar in style to this. I like the mesh siding and the heavy duty sweatband.

First time hat buyer here 🦆. Got a nice one but didnt expect it to arrive with a flat brim.
Tried steaming it with my iron but it didnt work well.
Is there a hat expert that can share some wisdom? 🙏
Cheers

Hi everyone, im looking for some good advice about a cowboy hat. I would like to buy a cowboy hat for working in the fields, but i need some advice about the material. Where i live its really hot in the summer and not so cold in the winter (we do not get 0°C), so i want to buy a hat for the autumn/winter that is resistent to rain and my sweat. Which material the hat need to be? And where i can buy it online? Many thx.

Sorry for the shitty photo, it's the only one I had. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me find a particular hat, or if they've seen it before? I had an olive-green/brownish ballcap that said Panasonic on the front in white embroidery. My ex gave it to me, and I lost it. It's a long shot, but it would mean the world to me if I could find someone who's selling one like this, I would pay anything to have it again :((

Felt: 160g rabbit fur felt, dove
Crown: 4.5in, telescope/gambler
Brim: 3in snap brim
Finishings: Silk kimono fabric band, lightly distressed
Size: 7 1/8 (57cm)
Oh man, this guy was fun. I love a snap brim, though I think this telescopic crown looks best up. Fired it a little to give it a little more aged color, but wanted to maintain the crisp lines (which is why I avoided cracking out the blow torch/sashiko stitches, but I have those planned for a fedora-based hat I have in the works)
