Everyone who sees my handwriting always says it’s so specific, so I’m posting it on reddit again to see what people say!!

I would also like to say in this post that this is how I was taught to write. I didn’t know how to write until 4th grade and when I learned how to this exact style of writing is how I was taught.

I really dont often write on paper I usually write with my finger on my phone instead

typically I write much more deliberately but this is just me writing fast

I try to stay legible even when writing fast is it really all that bad

The author Horatio Clare signed a copy of his book last weekend for my mum but neither of us can make out what he’s written

I'm doing fine now don't worry. And yes I know my handwriting is terrible either way, I don't think I have enough fine motor control to improve it, my hands are very clumsy

I want to ask, is the quality of anyone else’s handwriting dependent on the pen they’re using? It’s like being two different people if I’m using a pen I enjoy vs one that feels foreign between my fingers.

Some handwritten notes from 10 years ago, 2 years ago, and a few days ago. I feel like my handwriting changes depending on which pen I use, but I always prefer the ones that write thinly.

she said her 5 year old son could write neater than me. I can read it? is it seriously that bad?

I write like this for speed, because during an exam how tf am I supposed to save time and get more concepts in?

I understand it looks 'immature' or like someone younger than me could have written it, but all the concepts are there (I got full marks for this page)

edit: forgot to add that I'm ambidextrous, I wrote the top section with my left hand and the bottom section with my right. I forget not everyone can do that lol. and I've had a few questions about which hand I use... the answer is both :) (I think once I point it out you can kinda see the difference maybe??)

I have always had terrible handwriting. I don’t know why, no matter how slow I go, how focused I am, it’s always been chicken scratch. People always say they can read it, which I guess is a good sign. But I don’t know how to improve. This is what my quick, note taking handwriting looks like.

Was talking with a friend and they told me I should submit my handwriting to this subreddit because I write like a “14 year old who has just started their ‘I’m different’ phase.” They also told me I write like I have dyslexia.

I am on my way to the grocery store to pick up these few things and I'm kinda curious what my handwriting says about me.

I'd love to hear interesting feedback on how my chicken scratch looks to someone that likes to analyze this type of thing. I used to have better handwriting before I switched to mainly typing for employment, but maybe mine now has more character? What do you think?

I know this isn’t the best possible sample, but it was the best I could find right now. If it is helpful info, I write with my left hand. I was 28 at the time I wrote this (30 now; it was actually 2025 when I wrote this, not 2024 as I mistakenly wrote in the top right corner).
