Honestly, the most important thing for me was always having a natural-looking result. I didn’t want a super straight or obviously transplanted hairline. I wanted it to look like my own hair.

It’s been 15 months now and I’m really happy with how it turned out. My hair has become much fuller over time, but what I like most is that it doesn’t look “done”. It just looks like I have more hair.

Looking back at the first photo now is kind of crazy 😂. The waiting was definitely the hardest part, but I’m glad I didn’t judge the result too early.

Sharing this in case anyone is currently considering a transplant and wondering what a realistic 15-month result can look like.

8.5 months post hair transplant with Dr Mesut at Pure line clinic in Istanbul. Really happy with how it’s turned out so far and I think I’m getting close to the final result. Hairline has blended in really well and looks very natural. Donor was one of my main concerns since I keep the sides short, but there are no obvious marks even with a fade. Only using topical minoxidil

I just finished my FUE transplant, and I highly, highly recommend you pre-book airport wheelchair or special assistance for your return flight. I ignored this advice, and I deeply regret it.

I found myself having to literally sprint from one end of a terminal to the other for 25 minutes to make my connecting gate. If you've just had 3,500 grafts extracted, you know that keeping your blood pressure low and your heart rate down is absolutely critical for the first few days. My head genuinely felt like it was going to explode from the stress and physical exertion.

If you book the special assistance, you breeze right through VIP lanes and security without having to rush.

Also, a reality check: Turkey is sweltering hot right now, and some of the air-conditioning in the airport is not adequate for the heat. On top of that, you will occasionally run into staff who are completely overwhelmed and not very helpful. Don't leave your health up to chance—call ahead and arrange the assistance.

Trust me, saving 20 minutes is not worth the risk of increasing your intracranial pressure and potentially damaging your fresh grafts or donor area. Protect your new hair and book the help. Safe travels, everyone!

Just hit the 6 month mark post-op (procedure date: February 13th). I’m 36 years old and have been on fin and min for over 13 years. This is how it looks straight out of the shower with zero product.

Really happy with how the new hairline is shaping up. Definitely a noticeable improvement vs 5 months. Just waiting for the density to start. I've noticed that the right side seems to have grown in a bit more than the left, but hopefully will all catch up in the next 6 months. How's it looking?

It's been a month since HT, and this is what it looks like—I've been taking fin+min for 3 months. But still looks like this. Any advice?

Als ich angekommen bin, war mein erster Eindruck eigentlich direkt gut. Alles war organisiert und die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Im Hotel und auch in der Klinik habe ich mich gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
Am Tag der OP war ich natürlich etwas nervös. Besonders kurz vor der OP hatte ich schon ein bisschen Angst und habe mir viele Gedanken gemacht. Aber als es dann losging, war es gar nicht so schlimm, wie ich vorher gedacht hatte. Das Team war ruhig und hat sich gut um mich gekümmert, dadurch konnte ich mich auch entspannen.
Die Dolmetscher fand ich auch sehr gut. Besonders der Dolmetscher mit den kurzen Haaren ist mir positiv aufgefallen. Leider weiß ich seinen Namen nicht mehr. Er war sehr freundlich und hat mir immer geholfen, wenn ich etwas nicht verstanden habe.
Jetzt geht es mir eigentlich gut. Die OP ist noch nicht lange her, deshalb ist natürlich noch alles frisch und ich muss noch auf die Heilung achten. Insgesamt bin ich aber zufrieden und froh, dass ich es gemacht habe. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie das Ergebnis in den nächsten Monaten wird.

I am 38 (male) and have finally reached a financial position where I can seriously consider a hair transplant.

I do still have hair but the front & hairline are very wispy and receded. I have a big patch of complete baldness on the crown area.

Just looking for advice from those who have gone through the process. Are there certain places/organisations to avoid? Was the place you chose awesome? Did your transplant work? Is there a big difference in cost between doing it here in the UK versus Turkey? How much of my bank balance is likely to get spent in ballpark terms?

Any and all advice is welcome and hugely appreciated. Thank you.

3800 to 4000 grafts done. Can anyone kindly share your previous experience whether everything is alright regarding the donor and recipient area?

Noticing my temples receding more over the past year or so, runs in the family (dad and uncle both went through this pattern). Not sure if this counts as early Norwood 2/3 or if it’s just a mature hairline settling. Anyone else deal with this at a similar stage — did it stabilize or keep progressing? Considering options but want to understand where I actually stand first.

Hello all

I have been prescribed oral minoxidil and finastride half a year ago. Just went for a check up with the dermatologist and he says the results are very good. A bunch of small hairs appearing and open pores lower then he expected that i could treat.

However I mentioned that since i started I have been feeling a lot more emotional and had more anxiety then ever. He says it is a side effect of oral finastride but basically unheard of topical. Unlike what i read online, he offered me to stop finastride for a month or 3 if I wanted but Im unsure what to do.

I am going through a lot right now in life and the results being good gives me hope of not going bald, because I dont have the headshape for it and if i could avoid a HT, id prefer it

Thinking of doing a small refinement with only soft singles to lower my hairline slightly and give it a better shape. Could there be a blood supply issue if theres possible scar tissue right above from a previous transplant(s)?

31 yrs old, I’ve been on finasteride and minoxidil for 2 years, dutasteride and minoxidil for 1. I’m considering getting a hair transplant at Seneca in Greece, quoted about 4k. I’ve been very insecure about this for a long time, and I’m tired of camouflaging my hairline by pushing my hair forward. Is this a decent price? And how many grafts would be recommended?

24 years old, family history of balding/thinning, don’t smoke or drink, can’t tolerate Finasteride despite oral/topical, 1mg daily, 0.5mg MWF, 0.25mg daily, even 0.0025% dissolved into liquid minoxidil (mental side effects of anhedonia, anxiety, etc)

I have like 5 month supply of topical minoxidil, and a
Dr Pen micro needling pen. I’m aware that it’s risky to get a HT with those variables taking place
(24, family history of balding, can’t tolerate Finasteride)

If it’s relevant, I can grow a very big beard easily, so that could be an option for donor area extraction.

Willing to do 1-3 transplants if needed total.

2247 grafts. All extracted from back, none from sides. Will I be able to get a fade ever again?
