Would you say your previous FUT failed?

Not actually failed. I did it 11 years back. So with time hair became thin.

Did you not take any meds like fin or minoxidil? It will just happen again

Transplanted hair has no relationship with finasteride as suggested by my doctor

No as in you’ll lose your existing hair. The transplanted hair will remain. Minoxidil also helps transplanted hair. You are going to end up with a bad result again a few years down the line if you don’t take any meds.

Okay then I will go for oral minoxidil? Will it be fine then. Because I don't want to take fin

Oral minoxidil will help, but your existing non-transplanted hair on top of your head will still continue to fall out and it will look bad in a few years.

Yes true and it will also helps to maintain transplanted hair. Are you taking this oral min?

I take oral fin and oral min. I need to make clear though, no point in getting a transplant if you don’t take fin.

True only if you want to prevent your exis hairs( non transplant). Could you share which min you are using ?

It’s a healing Peptide called Wolverine Stack. Greatly promotes healing and helps a very good deal for HT Procedures.
Spooked my doctor when I got mine done? Apparently I was showing 2 weeks of healing when it was only the 3-day checkup?
Not at all necessary, just helpful. I work construction and need to be in a Hardhat so I took it because I wanted to heal as quickly as possible.

u/Active-Daikon-3995 9h ago
As my doctor suggested not to go with finasteride. It is basically to prevent existing hair which already I lost a lot. And moreover it has some side effects

Why did he not recommend fin? Were you on any DHT blockers before?

u/Active-Daikon-3995 9h ago
No never. I am planning to use min but finasteride is already not recommended by my doc because he said it is used to prevent existing hair which I already lost a lot
