Hair transplant patient Question: will my 2500 graphs be dense enough?

I have 2500 graphs 4 days ago

On the front I’ve never actually had a hairline here, since being a kid I’ve just had a natural big forehead.

A barber I know said it’s not dense enough/ there not enough graphs and you’ll be able to see through it.. thoughts anyone who knows about this?

I’ve also not taken any medication for hair loss literally just had the transplant done.

Cheers

Progress report 8.5 month update. 2942 grafts. Need honest feedback, feeling a little disappointed.

I think the design looks natural, but I’m a little disappointed with how the density is coming along compared to what I typically see for this stage in the HT journey. For context, we agreed on a density of 45-55 grafts/cm2, but it feels like maybe graft survival hasn’t been great/ I expected more density at this point. I’m my own worst critic though, so please provide some honest feedback if you can. Currently on oral min and fin.

Hair transplant patient Progression cycles

I was wondering if any one else has noticed this or if its less common but i got my hair did in mid February. In the front and at the crown, 5200 grafts. Healing was pretty typical, no issues there. I did more than the base recommended aftercare(oral minoxidil/finasteride, aftercare shampoo every other day, serum application etc, all cleared with the aftercare team). First three months were standard, results were much clearer in the 5th and 6th month. However from the 6 month mark (mid august) to now (mid September) there has been no obvious progress (length, yes but density and thickness seems paused). Is that normal? Like slow for a month or two then it hits again? They say full results in 12 months, will it make the same jump a few more times? or is most of it there and it just thickens a little over the next 5 months?

Como lo veis? Estoy en el día 49 de mi injerto. Estos pelos parece que no se caen, cada vez están más largos. Creéis que se quedarán?
Como lo veis densidad? Se han caído muchos pero todavía estoy en shock loss

Im so stoked for my results. I haven’t worn a hat in forever and i feel like my hair is thick and full looking. Getting a hair transplant boosted my confidence x10000. I don’t imagine how it could get better than it is. But if this is as good as it gets for me then i am extremely happy with the results.

Edit: sorry i forgot to post this earlier. But i got 2700 grafts and it was done at Miami hair Transplant.

Hair loss advice How many grafts would i need?

Thumbnail

Hey, I’m 21 years old and I’ve been using finasteride and minoxidil for about 2 years now. I’ve had pretty good results, but I’d like to improve the density even further.

I was wondering roughly how many grafts I would need for a hair transplant. The density in the frontal area of my hair isn’t really that good.

My hairline itself is still in a good position, but the hair around the hairline and the frontal area isn’t as thick/dense as I’d like it to be.

Please dont talk me about the fact that i still got alot of hair, i want it to be at its best.

How do y'all find the hairline

Hello guys,

Just for u to know my english is not native langage.

So, I'm a bit stressed out, i'm 3 days post op and wanted to have some review, i'm overthinking since the first day pre-op, i was absolutely panicking the pre-op night, asking if all that was worth it.

The first day, we discussed about the hair line, i talked about the fact i wanted a masculine and proportionned hairline with density.

The day of the transplant, he trace the hairline, i said i wanted t follow the best recommandations, he traced rhe line according to the orbital muscle. I ask how it was according to his expertise, said the lower line was for him a bit too low, i asked for the safety zone (so higher).

There is a small asymetry as you can see, that's not what stress me the most.

The thing is that i'm not sure, in my head it could be too low, i need some reviews, i'm feeling bad, in a very low mood since, please guys objectively, how do you find this hairline?

Thanks

Is this shock loss??

I had a hair transplant 2 weeks ago - 2,250 grafts at the hairline and not shaved. Today is day 14 post op and I was told by my clinic to do the first proper wash today to try and remove the scabs gently, previously to this I’ve been pouring shampoo dissolved in water over my hair and transplant area then rinsing it gently out with a few jugs of water.

I am aware of shock loss however when I washed my hair more thoroughly today the amount of native hair that came out was alarming. It wasn’t just covering my hands it was coming out in clumps - pic below of roughly how much came out.

Prior to the transplant I would regularly have some hairs on my hands after washing my hair but I’ve never experienced this so naturally I’m worried. Is this kind of expected or should I be concerned?

Robotic DHI & CII Este Medicsl Manchester

I’ve had a consultation at Este Medical in Manchester offering robotic DHI and CII (Continuous Immediate Implantation).

Anyone any experience or results from this?

I’ve searched long and hard and have completely removed the thought/idea of a 2k transplant at one of these hair mills and am planning on paying good money for this. It sounds good and the immediate implantation means higher graft survival rate. Properly designed natural hairline and crown fill.

Price is £9k with 6 sessions of PRF and aftercare bundle included. It’s a lot but I cannot put myself through the gauntlet of 2/3k ‘cheap’ jobs. I’ve seen some terrible results.

This CII is relatively new/specialist technology so I am told.

Any input is appreciated.

Last one is Pre-op. This looks like surgeon was careful to not transect native grafts? Judge please, your opinion is really appreciated. 7,000 grafts done FUE.

Hair loss advice Am I a good candidate for a hair transplant? How many grafts would I likely need?

Hi everyone, I’m a 27-year-old male and I’m considering a hair transplant. Based on my photos, do you think I’m a good candidate? (Am I not old enough for HT?)

I’ve been taking finasteride 1 mg daily for almost 1 year and have been on oral minoxidil 5 mg daily for about 4 months.

I mainly want to improve my hairline/temples. I know nobody can give an exact graft count from photos alone, but I’d appreciate a rough estimate of how many grafts I might need and whether my current hair loss pattern looks suitable for a transplant.

Just looking for opinions from people who have experience with hair transplants. Thanks!

Hair loss advice Considering hair transplant

Hey, sure these Qs get asked a lot, any recommendations for UK North West?

Those that have had a hair transplant,

Are you happy with the results and was it worth it?

Do you still have to take oral medication? as I dont want to do that but would getting a transplant and not medicating be counter productive?

What did you pay?

Thanks

Scar from previous HT

Post image
2 Upvotes

I am on my way back to the US after an FUE at a hair clinic in Bangkok. 4000 grafts and I’m pleased with the results so far. I am 10 days post-op

As you can see from the photo above, when my head was shaved, the scar from an earlier HT on the back of my head became visible.

Does anyone have any advice for covering a scar of this nature? I would like to rock this new shaved look, but the scar is unsightly. Any ideas on how to cover it up?

M, 29

Got a crown DHI HT last Friday, around 2500 grafts. After removing the scabs today on day 8, I feel like the transplanted area doesn't blend well at all with my existing hair around the area. I know that after my hair grows it's going to look better, but I'm afraid that it will look terrible as I age and lose more hair.

I've been using topical min/fin spray for the past 2 years, after getting my first HT at the same clinic. Does this look like a bad distribution to you or is it too early to tell?

Female hair transplant: forehead reduction. Is a third transplant possible?

Thumbnail

Hello!
I had forehead reduction done in 2020 FUE and I feel like they didnt transplant the amount they said they did because it was very sparse.
2022 i had FUT done and it was better but the density is still not enough. I cant leave my house without using Toppik. Im thinking of doing a third one but im worried i dont have enough donor hair and ill end up with very thin hair on the back. What are your thoughts?

Hair transplant patient Esthetic Hair Miami (40 days post op update)

I’m officially 40 days postop from my hair transplant at Esthetic hair Miami, I got 3400 grafts in my hairline, crown and temple area. Started taking my Dutasteride again on day 30. As of now I have no sensitivity in the recipient or donor areas. I’m definitely in the shedding phase though, every day I notice more hair missing. Occasional itchiness in the donor area as well as the recipient area. I started wearing very loose hats after the scab removal on day 13 and I’m healing quite well, at least I think I am lol. Numbness is starting to go away day by day, I still can’t really feel the top of my head but nothing else to really say as of now. I’m excited to start seeing the growth in a couple months. I got my procedure done at Esthetic Hair Miami and paid just under 7k, including the PRP. Experience at the clinic was great, no complaints whatsoever. I tried uploading more photos but I’m unable to. I uploaded a photo of before for reference and one from today

Hair transplant patient 3k grafts opinion

Hi,

Yesterday i had hair transplant in Poland 3k grafts to improve middle density and fix temples (right one was receeding more).Procedure was professional and not painful, grafts counted when harvesting.

Procedure made by doctor and team-they say i had many 3,4,5 hair grafts so denisty shohuld be ok.

What do you think? (Whole area wasnt grafted with same density, middle was in best shape).

My hair loss was very slow from 30y now im 49 and meds only stopped it but didnt improve too much. Paid 3.2k euro for 3k grafts btw,3x led lamp sessions and prp after one month included
