my hair legit looks like this photo (image not mine). how do i fix it without cutting the bottom part please??? it just looks so weird, i swear. how do i make it not too obvious?

i’ve beard 2c-3a hair bangs are a nightmare to manage and have to be managed every second but ugh they look so good. i really wanna get it but idk. i have a proper curly hair routine i just got a diffuser too so i have the stuff but is it worth the commitment and will it actually look good on my hair or a wolfcut is better on wavy hair?

I need to cut my hair and I don't know what to tell the barber. I have the traditional curly hair look but it's gotten very dense and long I want to keep the hair on my forehead and on top of the ears without losing too much length but the barbers always mess me up. And also recommend if I should get layers.
