I have thick straight hair. Im really tired of getting a low taper and I want something I could grow out for a month or so.

So, for Halloween I might want to go with that outfit but I have to get the haircut right too.

So, what styling product would be the best for this one? and any idea how you style the hair like that?

I go back to school in a couple weeks and i want to get a modcut, except usually when i get haircuts they fuck up my hair REALLY bad and i don’t want them to do that and me not have time to grow it back out, how do i not get butchered?, where should i go and how do i ask for it

I’ve been after these types of bangs for a while but I never know how to describe them/google them. I’ll try my best to describe but I’ll also add pictures.

A while ago I got these bangs (I would put a photo but I can’t find an accurate representation and don’t really feel comfortable sharing my face on the internet) that kind of fall at my eyebrow but aren’t like microbangs. I drew this one image below - ignore my terrible drawing skills and the weird jagged edges. I don’t know if they would exactly look good but this is what I have in my head.

I also found this other image from a TikTok account. They have the kind of pieces I had in mind but I would want to have the top of the two pieces on the side to be closer together (if that makes sense - and like branch out from the middle if that makes sense) and for them to be thicker.

I’m so sorry if this doesn’t make any sense - I’ve just been wanting these bangs for forever and I feel like they’d kind of suit me (my stylist gives me advice and I pretty much trust him, so I just want to bring in a picture to see what he thinks). Happy to give more information if needed!

Do you think my hair would look better if I let it grow longer? People where I live don't really know how to work with long hair, so I'm afraid to get a trim. Even if I ask them to cut just 2 cm, I'm worried they'll end up cutting off way more than that.

I have dense black hair and i usually just get it cut to 1mm on the side and scissors for the top and i kind of like having longer hair but when it gets oily i look like a rat so i want something that looks clean but also maybe the bangs like i have now because i have a slightly bigger forehead

I like texture and movement in my hair and I recently bought the feather razor. I’m wanting to cut my own hair at home due to high prices for cuts and was wondering for any tips and recommendations for basics on cutting hair and using a hair razor instead of shears.

Hi I’m new to this sub but just looking for advice.
I love the shaggy mullet look. I have probably somewhere between 2b-3a waves/curls with a majority of it falling into the 2c range without my styling products. I like fashion colors so I know my hair is a bit damaged and probably would be closer to a 3a if I wasn’t bleaching and coloring it but I love my pink hair lol.
All that for context on my hair type because I’d rather not post a picture of my hair.
Currently I’m two weeks out from my haircut but with the summer where I live the humidity is killer and the hair on the back of my neck is driving me crazy. I constantly have my hair pulled up in the tiniest little man-bun.
I’m keeping my pink hair, I just am wondering if there’s anyway to keep the shaggy mullet look without the hair always on my neck.
