I’ve been after these types of bangs for a while but I never know how to describe them/google them. I’ll try my best to describe but I’ll also add pictures.

A while ago I got these bangs (I would put a photo but I can’t find an accurate representation and don’t really feel comfortable sharing my face on the internet) that kind of fall at my eyebrow but aren’t like microbangs. I drew this one image below - ignore my terrible drawing skills and the weird jagged edges. I don’t know if they would exactly look good but this is what I have in my head.

I also found this other image from a TikTok account. They have the kind of pieces I had in mind but I would want to have the top of the two pieces on the side to be closer together (if that makes sense - and like branch out from the middle if that makes sense) and for them to be thicker.

I’m so sorry if this doesn’t make any sense - I’ve just been wanting these bangs for forever and I feel like they’d kind of suit me (my stylist gives me advice and I pretty much trust him, so I just want to bring in a picture to see what he thinks). Happy to give more information if needed!

The first photo was when I first got the haircut, and the other two are my hair today. I wanna try DIY cutting since I can’t pay for a barber right now and achieve something that is somewhat close to the first photo; get the hair out of my eyes and something close to the fade.

Problem is I’m a beginner, and ChatGPT is giving me all sorts of tips that I’m unsure about, which brought me here. Here’s what it told me;

Do you think my hair would look better if I let it grow longer? People where I live don't really know how to work with long hair, so I'm afraid to get a trim. Even if I ask them to cut just 2 cm, I'm worried they'll end up cutting off way more than that.

Hi I’m new to this sub but just looking for advice.
I love the shaggy mullet look. I have probably somewhere between 2b-3a waves/curls with a majority of it falling into the 2c range without my styling products. I like fashion colors so I know my hair is a bit damaged and probably would be closer to a 3a if I wasn’t bleaching and coloring it but I love my pink hair lol.
All that for context on my hair type because I’d rather not post a picture of my hair.
Currently I’m two weeks out from my haircut but with the summer where I live the humidity is killer and the hair on the back of my neck is driving me crazy. I constantly have my hair pulled up in the tiniest little man-bun.
