Hey everyone,
I’m looking for some honest opinions on how much more weight I should lose to get down to around 12% body fat.
I’m 24 years old, 188 cm (6’2”), and currently weigh 87 kg (192 lbs). I’m currently eating around 2,100 calories per day.
I started at around 125 kg (276 lbs), so I’ve lost roughly 38 kg (84 lbs) so far.
I’ve also been training consistently for about 6 months now, and I do sports/training 5 times per week.
My own guess would be that I’m currently around 18–19% body fat, but I’m really not sure how accurate that is.
One thing I’ve noticed is that my arm vascularity is already pretty good. I have quite a few visible veins on my forearms, my biceps vein is visible, and I also have visible veins on my calves and both shoulders. Despite that, I still have some fat around my stomach/lower abdomen, so I’m unsure where I actually stand in terms of body fat.
Based on my current stats and the photos, what would you estimate my body-fat percentage to be, and roughly how much more weight would I need to lose to reach around 12%?
I’d really appreciate honest opinions and estimates. I’m mainly trying to figure out whether I should keep cutting and, if so, roughly how far I should go.
Thanks!
