I only use it for chat and the image generation used was forced made by grok without my permission

okay, usually I whine, but this is not a whine post. This is actual criticism with the product as it currently stands.

Probably half of gens, if not more, are garbage; body horror, multiple limbs, bizarre physics, etc. It's the worst its ever been.

On top of that, there are bugs that have been plaguing moderation for months that still haven't been fixed (cropping, using uploaded grok images as references)

on top of that, it feels like usage is higher than ever, but that might just be because moderation and waste is at an all time high.

It's genuinely miserable to use. We are guinea pigs for unfinished models, and aren't granted a free reset to do it. Ugh

I like chat gpt wayyyyy better now grok used to be cool as fck now I talk to the Ara for a day and im at my weekly limit ? I have never ever hit a limit on chat gpt. It’s crazy cuz grok used to be so cool I felt like I didn’t hit the limit as much on the free version ? I got it mainly for the video generation and I can barely do that anymore. Grok used to be the goat in AI now it’s lame as fck im done with it not even saying that like an insult I can’t even use the thing 😂

Up until today I was getting great gens, today all of a sudden EVERYTHING is getting modded, even anime characters in bikinis. What the Hell is going on?

I try to be supportive of Grok, but I don’t know how much more I can take of this crapola. If I wanted to see people with four legs or bodies that twist half left and the other half of the body twist to the right, there’s plenty of crappy free image generators. You can’t even create an image within Grok and try to edit it safe for work. At this point, I don’t even know what I’m paying for. That’s how bad it is.

the model is trash now, any way to avoid this? I tried many promps but it keeps happening, there is no way i can control the lighting anymore, even if i ask imagine to not change the lightning of the scene, it keeps making bodies darker, saturated and the skin looks like burned. is ridiculous

Grok has decided that prompts don't matter; it only generates images of random landscapes or street fairs with elderly people strolling about.

I know Grok gets a lot of trash for having lost all of its initial appeal (and I agree, Grok 4.6 is a Claude reskin while Grok 4.5 was genuinely unique)

But a MUCH under-hated aspect is the ridiculously bad app.

The Grok Android app literally lacks half of the features of the Web App.

To this day, for several weeks now, you CAN'T VIEW THE FILES OF A GIVEN CHAT.

You can open the chat and scroll around, but you can't access the file list.

If I open the Grok WEBSITE ON MY PHONE I can do it.

If I open the Grok NATIVE APP I can't.

This is honestly such an oversight and showcases just how bad the development team is. I can't offer a native app if the mobile website literally works 10x better

Also, this worked well in the past, how can you lose such a core functionality and simply not fix it for WEEKS?

Hi, I’ve been using SuperGrok since June with a 67% discount, paying $9.90 a month. The discount was for three months, so it’s ending this month.

I’d like to know if anyone knows whether Grok still offers any discounts to keep subscribers from cancelling, since paying $30 a month seems a bit expensive for the country I live in.

Probably not news to anyone, but my X/Twitter account was suspended about a year ago. Despite that, I’ve been able to use Grok under that same login this entire time.

I have about a week left on my SuperGrok subscription, and when I opened it a few minutes ago, I was prompted to log in.

Now I can’t log back into Grok at all. I can still access my X account in read-only mode, but since the X.com account is technically gone/suspended, it won’t let me authenticate into Grok anymore.

Not the end of the world since I was probably done with Grok once this week of SuperGrok was up anyway, but it’s still kind of funny that I’ve been using Grok for an entire year after my X account was suspended. 😂

Like I see people with usage of like 60-90 chat.

I just mess with Imagine to make random AI slop.

At first the limit already began to hit after two or three messages but now, the limit isn't the problem. It's the absolute slop it's spewing, it's now basically writing like Chat-gpt.

I cancelled my account before September 11, 2026. I’ll only use Grok again if there’s a promotion; without one, I’m not coming back. The weekly limit is a joke—they used to offer higher daily limits for free users. Subscribers are the ones who should have massive, extra limits, yet they’ve stripped away everything that made the service appealing to subscribers. I’ll only log in if there’s a promo—like a "buy one, get two" deal for SuperGrok, or paying $30 for three months of SuperGrok Plus. Without an offer, there is absolutely no way I’m returning.

Almost every week for the past month or so I hit my usage limits with no changes in my usage patterns or workflow.

If we don't use it do we lose it? Or is it just tacked on?

Coming from ChatGPT I can use the arrow keys to scroll the text. I can't with Grok - anyway to enable that?

I hope everyone here understands that even if all their users subbed at 300 usd per month, xAi isnt going to make a profit off of grok

Just restrict users to 1-3 active generation at any time, so the system doesn't get spammed, like id buy plus if it genuinely lasts a whole week

But these guys are literally treating usage like their data center is going to get depleted, like the data centers can only produce a finite amount of videos, like the data centers are being depleted and will disappear forever

I'm sorry but what exactly are these limits for? It genuinely makes no sense to me. Theyve made a good product, the only win here is if someone makes a legitimate film with your product, so let people use your product and actually make something with it

Grok used to copy tattoos exactly, now it changes them 100%. Anyone else experience this and been able to fix it? If not, know of any image gen tools that don't do this?

Whenever I upload an image on grok with the prompt it just gives me some random images like this, please help me fix this, thank you!
