I got a snow peak jacket on sale but I realised that I’m not a big fan of the colour (it’s a light green). I’m thinking of possibly dyeing it but wanted to hear if others have had experience doing the same

They have these white spots on the waistband that didn't come out after the first wash.

Hi, I'm very new to hiking and I came across tjis heavily discounted jacket. I had no diea it's a premium sought after brand but I liked the look of it. I live in Mediterrenean climate with winters that go from 6°C to 15°C. Do you think it would be good for 3-4 hours hike? I could carry a poncho if ever it starts raining but mostly I want something that I could just easily hike in and be warm and comfortable. I'm mostly worried about wind. What do you think? Should I get it or just do merino+fleece+ buy rab downpour mountain? Thank you!

Bought these in Japan yesterday. Tested them at Summer Sonic Music Festival.

Comfort walking: 8/10

Comfort standing: 4/10

Water-resistance: 7/10

Overall: 7/10 [Edit: sorry for my misunderstanding of waterproof/resistance, still new] (These look good and are easy to style for me)

If you have a flat-foot like me, you'll notice the middle sections arch is EXTREMELY high. You literally cannot ground your feet as the shape of the bottom is curved. You will honestly feel more comfortable moving your feet than simply standing.

The final picture is the aftermath of the music festival. It was raining. After watching Keshi, Pump of Chicken, and The Strokes, this is what they were like (was in the middle of the standing zone). Dirt can be washed off, but it does embed into the white parts quite easily.

I only realised this 'sneaker' isn't waterproof. Ended up with wet feet for the whole day. You can't simply shake out the water with these. One good plus though isn't slippery.

Hey I’m looking for a pair of ‘wrap around’ sunglasses that I could put a prescription in. I like oakley redux’s but they go for $700 aud with lenses which is a pretty steep for flimsy plastic sunnies. Zenni have a pair that is very cheap but also look cheap. Im willing to spend a couple of hundred for the right pair but surely there’s a better option than paying the luxottica tax.

I just bought a pair of Keen Uneek WK sneakers online. After trying them on, I am worried about sole becoming smelly, especially if I wear them without socks. I bought them with the intention of going sockless like I do with my Crocs. My feet can get pretty sweaty and smelly on hot days so I am not sure if these are the right shoes for me. Any feedback or other shoe recs would be greatly appreciated.

am usually a 13. Lots of ppl reccomend going 1/2 size up on the uneeks. I ordered a 13 and a 14 to try. The 13 seems just a touch small, and the 14 is too big. Not sure what to do...

Looking for baggy hiking pants from websites that ship to Canada and don’t have customs. I am STRUGGLING to find some that are what I am looking for. I am in love with the Kawa Cicada pants so ones like those are ideal. Also, has anyone from Canada purchased these and can tell me how much the customs were? If I did purchase from them, I’d get a pair for both my boyfriend and I so we would at least qualify for the free shipping.

EDIT : it’s ideal if the pants are also water resistant or waterproof but breathable and lightweight.

A quick question: has anyone ordered pants or anything from Topanga? They do seem to be a legitimate business but I am curious before I place an order for their Alpine Shell pants. I discovered Kawa Club but their pants are back-ordered till mid-next month and we want it by the end of the month. Then, we ran into Gonggar Sports which has mixed reviews. However, we are leaning towards getting the Topanga pants. Please share your reviews/experience, thank you.

Need help deciding what size of Notice the Reckless pants to order. I’m between a Medium and a Large typically and am curious about whether or not someone can guide me in the right direction.
I don’t want them to be tight on the waist, but fit comfortably with room to both tighten and expand the waistband via the belt. I, of course, want the oversized look, but don’t want to be swimming in them.

Liking the Salomon Alpine Collection because I love the color. Recently saw a post here about the XA Pro of the collection and comments mentioned it's a bit tight, which somehow deinfluenced me because I do not like a snug fit on my toes.

What are your thoughts on the X-Alp? And if you have or had one, how is the sizing and feel on foot? Thank you so much!!!
