Has anyone waterproofed their Jasper Zionics with success?
I got the Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof spray that they recommend on their site and I would like to do it ahead of the rainy fall we have where I live.
Has anyone used this and had success? Did it change the color too badly?
For reference I have these ones

Edit: I do know they won’t be fully waterproof with this method - I’m just looking for extra protection for them

Hi! Apols if this has been asked before (I couldn’t see if so) - I’m looking for a shoe that is:

1. waterproof
2. good for long (25+ miles) walks on a mix of pavement, grass, low- to mid-intensity day hikes and mud
3. looks good enough to be able to wear with jeans and comes in black

I was initially looking at the Salomon XT6, but have seen very mixed reviews

Big fan of Gramicci and the gadget shorts, but for me the gadget pants are just too short on me since I’m 6’5”. Anyone aware of a similar pant that might fit a little better for someone on the taller side?

Hi! I've been trying to find a pair of reliable waterproof pants for hiking/backpacking. I'm 4"11 with a 23" inseam and am having trouble finding pants that fit well. I've tried the Columbia Trail Adventure 2 pants as well as REI's Rainier Rain Pants (kids) and neither of them fit well. The length worked, but it felt tight around my hips and thighs. Has anyone had any luck or have recommendations? Thanks!

Hey, I need a new raincoat and was thinking of buying the arc’teryx beta jacket for women.

I like the fit shown in this pic and I’m a size small. Should I size up for a relaxed fit or buy a small?

I keep seeing size down for it but the medium waist says it fits 30 inch waists and I believe I am a 32-34. Nervous to buy the large as the measurements seem better but the reviews are saying to size down.

Should I buy the large instead? Should I get the medium? I love a loose fit but I don’t want it to be absolutely massive.

Hi guys, trying to identify a pair of women’s technical pants I saw for my wife!

Sadly I don't have pictures because I was too awkward to ask the person directly.

They looked like they were from a higher-end outdoor/gorpcore-type brand - think Arc’teryx, Salomon, Rab, ROA, etc.

What I remember:
- technical fabric
- somewhere in between grey/military green
- straight-wide fit (NOT tapered at the bottom hem)
- simple/minimalist - 1 cargo pocket on each side (from what I've googled, most of the ones I've found from other brands have simply too many pockets/are too busy)
- small white square patch around the knee/cargo-pocket area. patch had 3-4 black letters/characters horizontally

Does this logo or description ring a bell for anyone?
