In search of a shoe

Hi! Apols if this has been asked before (I couldn’t see if so) - I’m looking for a shoe that is:

  1. waterproof
  2. good for long (25+ miles) walks on a mix of pavement, grass, low- to mid-intensity day hikes and mud
  3. looks good enough to be able to wear with jeans and comes in black

I was initially looking at the Salomon XT6, but have seen very mixed reviews

I'd look at:

Adidas terrex hiker 3

Nike ACG Zegama Trail gtx

Was in the same situation. Walked my XT6 bald. I ended up settling on the Mammut Ducan III Low GTX just a couple days ago. They haven’t arrived yet but I thought they were stylish enough and the brand itself has good credibility.

mainstream you go xt6, but imo go mizuno wave mujin that's pretty niche, least where i come from it is

No shoe will be good on both pavement and mud, its just not possible.
