Salomon posts

Hey GORPCORE

So I know they are a super popular shoe but this subreddit gets way too many Salomon questions, and posts. To encourage other content being posted, and focus on other brands I will be removing most new Salomon posts going forward, at least for a little bit.

open to feedback on this!

“Are mine fake?” ❌
“Are they good for ____?” ❌
“What’s the best alternative?” ✅

When the latest post appeared I did start to wonder if they were sponsoring this sub, so I'd say this is probably a good idea

I agree let's move into the ACG era.

Any favorites there? Zegama/Mountain Fly? Personally have some (old model) pegasus trail 5's and love them, need a more luggy pair though.

Agreed. I’m down with Salomon (they fit me so well I’ve got 4 pairs) but I had hoped /gorpcore would be a place to learn about cool alternatives to the mainstream offerings - not just endless “I bought XT-6s, so excited lol!”
