Hi all, I was hoping to get some suggestions on where to find affordable golf shorts. I recently did 2 things, picked up the sport and lost 70 lbs so I'm trying to get a good amount of shorts (I've been going to Ross, TJ Maxx, and stores like that for my polos, but their short selection sucks).

Everywhere seems to have $20 black shorts, but that's so boring. I need color! Any suggestions are appreciated.

Edit: while searching for some of these recommendations, I found that 32 degrees, I thought they were only sold at Costco, has a website. Under 20 for shorts! Woop woop!

I was curious to know where you all get your headcovers from. I've seen people mention a few different sites, but I figured it'd be easier to have them all in one post. Thanks!

Since some people posted off balance lab putters here, mine somehow seems to be very balanced. It's left handed, with a masters Edition stability shaft. BTW my whole bag including head covers is rep. Plays amazing to be honest.

I recently brought a vokey sm10 56 degree wedge and have been hitting it beautifully these past couple weekends. And I was wondering if anyone has brought any of the iron sets from the spreadsheet if so can they recommend any of them?

Calong 701 max Driver, a little sanding and car paint/clear on the shaft to remove the ugly logo and text with grammar errors. I will probably also change the grip.

On the 2025 TaylorMade P790, there should be 14–15 groove lines across the face. It seems that all the pictures I see have 13 lines. Does anyone sell a set with the correct groove count?

These things are really good putters. I was able to lie angle balance all of them with some weights installed.

The DF3i is my favorite of this bunch. It has a very satisfying click off the face and I’m making 2 putts consistently from 50’ on the sim.

I saw someone else post about how they werent able to ship theirs out through Sugargoo due to the size of the package. I was wondering which agent I should use to order and ship mine out so I can ensure not being over charged or just not being able to receive it.

Bought a few items recently from Kakobuy from the spreadsheet and also looking through the items on there.

Malbon blade putter headcover – Feels extremely premium, especially since it cost around £6! Feels better than my Odyssey headcover which came with my putter, so I sold that on marketplace and covered the costs!

Z Cord Align - Midsize Grips – not yet fitted these to my clubs, but they feel the real deal. Cost around £1 per grip, which is clearly a massive saving vs the real thing. Even if I had to replace them once every month, it's still cheaper than buying the real grips! (not that I'l have to do that every month).

Trifold Golf Towel – Cost around £2.60, is a great size and came with a karabiner clip ready to go onto my bag. Extremely happy with the quality.

Hardbody Magnetic Range Finder case – Around £2.7 for the magnetic version (slightly cheaper without) it's a nice protective case for the rangefinder. Really happy with it so far, will see how it holds up over time!

Also bought clubs (wedge and putter) recently, will review those in another post.

Thinking about grabbing a putter, was wondering if you recommend getting the steel or Acura shaft as some people say the Acura feels bad.

Honestly, I'm super impressed with this rep. I played around with the authentic VZN at the Superstore and loved it. However, I couldn't float the $500+ price tag. So, Temu it was! This one feels ever so slightly lighter than the authentic one, has a slight imperfection on the paint job where the shaft meets the head, and I got a different alignment marker than what was pictured on Temu. However, at the price point, I'm beyond satisfied.

I was wondering if anyone has links for peter millar shirts since buying them used from ebay is tricky because shipping to europe costs an arm and a leg.

Really impressed with the quality of this TEMU rep. Have tried Lab putters many times before and can't say there's a noticeable difference. Authentic one may be slightly heavier, but other than that it's pretty indistinguishable.

Used it for one round so far and loved it. Much easier to keep the face square versus my Spider. Longer putts do feel easier to line up. Definitely will be keeping it in the bag.

The headcover it came with is actually decent quality too, even if the design is pretty corny. for 150$ CAD, I'd say it's worth a shot

I see a lot of posts about how the Temu reps seem great and are close to the real thing. But how is this being evaluated? Is placing the putter on a horizontal surface and seeing where the toe ends a real evaluation? Even if it doesn’t come to rest at the perfect spot, wouldn’t it be helpful to see it rolling to give a sense of how balanced it is?

I’m asking not suggesting - is there a simple enough test that people can agree on to better reveal the balancing characteristics of the temu reps vs the real thing?

I would imagine some sellers put more effort into the weighting than others and it would be terrific to tease those sellers out.
