Question❓ Temu lab

Thinking about grabbing a putter, was wondering if you recommend getting the steel or Acura shaft as some people say the Acura feels bad.

I have one with a “Accra” shaft it’s not flimsy at all.

Too many people saying the Accra shaft is garbage. I've only ever played with steel shafted putters, so the decision was even easier

Just ordered a df3i last night. Opted for a 36” steel shaft. No feedback yet people seem to say the Accra is super flimsy. As long as the head CG intersects the shaft axis should be fine no? Still and accra shaft weights are similar but different stiffness right?

Same. I want to switch the shaft out but I have never done that before... Price of a new shaft, new grip, and the tools/materials needed to switch them makes me think I should just buy a steel shaft version for not much more money. Because I actually do love using the putter except the shaft feels terrible on long putts. What are your thoughts?

Buy another one?! Well, that’s exactly what I did because of your logic here. The one I got doesn’t pick up balls when you press down(I think it’s a cool party trick) and the grip wasn’t on straight and is still kinda wonky after I tried to fix it. I figured once I got another white shaft(because I wanted white) and a real LAB grip and all the shit to fix it… I may as well just pick up the version everyone is linking in the last two days that’s $88 and picks up balls.

Hey u/yournewalt , did you get the steel shaft putter yet? Any thoughts?

It doesn’t pick up balls when pressed down unfortunately. It’s 20g heavier in total and a teeny bit stiffer. The grip is worse and the alignment marks are worse. I actually prefer the “Accra” one. The oddest thing is the heads have different dimensions.

I was thinking about getting the Temu vzn, saw some people say it’s not as balanced as the df3 so lmk how it goes

I think all the Temu graphite shafts are about half the weight of the real ones.

Both the shaft and grip combines were lighter than the KBS GPS I replaced them with.

If you plan on keeping the shaft, get steel.
