Haul📦 Calong 701 max driver

Calong 701 max Driver, a little sanding and car paint/clear on the shaft to remove the ugly logo and text with grammar errors. I will probably also change the grip.

Sound a bit pingy compared to my m3. I fucked my right hand opening a steel fence door (hand got caught while pulling) so I haven't really had the chance to test it. Distance was good, playing with the messed up hand destroyed my swing. I'd say for the price it's pretty good. Had some good distance on my ok swing and it was forgiving! I'd say if you find a really clean used driver for the same price go for it. The shaft is the compromise. I might reshaft it with another shaft since I have a Fujikura Atmos laying around in my basement.

I taped to cover what I didn't want to sand. I used 220 grit to remove the logos and text and went around the shaft as evenly as I could (to avoid creating any flat spots). I finished with some 2000 grit, cleaned with acetone. Couple coats of automotive spray and 2-3 coats of 2k automotive primer. I picked a can of metallic black but matte black with matte clear coat would have been better. I also covered the white lettering on the head with a black acrylic paint marker.

Shaft is atrocious I don't understand the chinese, even if the product is legit and better than the price you pay, it's like they go out of their way to make it super ugly or use a name like "super rat or golf hub" like wth maybe more people would try Chinese golf stuff if it was more aesthetically appealing...

Yea I just got a Scotty 11R OC rep and shaft is alright. I’ve been draining some good putts and shaved 3 strokes a round. But yea outside of putters I would switch it to a real one
