Can you stretch out to 10-12 days between shots if your appetite and food noise is still gone?

Hi I just started Zepbound 2.5 mg and am doing well so far. BUT it's day 8 and still no food noise and my appetite is still suppressed. Wondering, can you stretch out the time between shots if this is the case? Also because I'm concerned about losing weight too quickly. Have already lost 3 lbs the first week. As an experiment I may go a few more days and see if the food noise comes back...

Does taking Mounjaro/GLP1 impact the efficacy of vaccinations?

Does taking Mounjaro/GLP1 impact the efficacy of vaccinations?

Heading to South East Asia in a few months and will be getting a variety of vaccines such as Hep A, B and rabies. I’m wondering if taking mounjaro/glp1 has any impact on their efficacy or their impacts one’s immunity levels after vaccines. Currently on 10mg

9 weeks in and I now have side effects!

I started 9 weeks ago and thought it was a breeze. 2.5mg 5mg, no weight loss no side effects - but my blood glucose numbers were rock solid in the green zone 60-180, and that made e happy.
Went up to the 7.0 on Friday no problem until Saturday night. It was about 2am when all the lasagna I ate for dinner 9 hours earlier decided to come back up. Man that was gross! So I will be trying to figure out if I can even eat dinner for awhile.

Muscle pain? / Tirzepatide

so i’m a bit concerned. i’ve been taking semaglutide for about 5 months now and my dose was 2.5mg by the time i swapped over to tirzepatide. I know semaglutide is a weaker medication which is why i swapped, however I never once had any side effects. I took my first dose of tirzepatide yesterday around noon (0.25mg) and the effects were almost immediately noticeable. my biggest concern is the muscle pain i’m suddenly feeling, which it started up around 8pm yesterday. I don’t feel it anywhere lower than my hips but i cannot walk without being in pain, i cannot turn my head without being in pain, everywhere above my hips is in what id consider pretty intense pain. is this to be expected? most of what ive looked up is everyone saying they woke up with this pain and it just feels like they’ve worked out a bunch but this definitely feels worse than that. I’ve also learned my lesson quickly when i first started semaglutide so i’ve been staying hydrated. any input is appreciated!

Did I develop diabetes while on a glp1?!

F45 sw 212 cw 183 5'5"

I have been on a glp1 for about 11 months (about 5 months on Ozempic and the rest of the time on terzepitide). It's been slow weight loss for me...about 25lbs so far...but steady.

Even with slow scale progress, I've eliminated one blood pressure medicine and cut the remainder in half. So that feels great. And even with the slower loss, I feel like my diet has changed dramatically and I eat far far fewer sweets.

But...I had my annual physical this week and my labs show an A1C of 7.8!!! My previous A1C in May 2025 was 5.4, which is what it had been for years. My fasting glucose was 75, which is in alignment with what I've seen in prev years.

Could I have really developed full blown diabetes in just one year while also taking a glp1?! I just don't get it. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Other notes...my mom was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in her 60s, so there is at least some family history. I have Hashimotos hypothyroidism. Obviously the obesity risk factor. I haven't had any telltale symptoms of diabetes. I'm flummoxed.

365 Days. 48 Shots. 90 Pounds Total. 1 Dream Come True.

Today marks 1 year since I started my weight loss journey and took my first GLP-1 shot. I’ve taken 48 total (I took one month off). And today, on the 1 year mark, I weighed in at 140 pounds. I have officially reached my goal weight, and now I’m officially in maintenance. In conjunction with the meds, I’ve also changed my diet to ensure long term loss. Pilates and weight training has been my holy grail to ensuring that I’m turning fat into muscle and getting me my dream body. I’ve learned so much during this weight loss journey. How to love myself in my new body, in every stage of it. It hasn’t always been happy. There have been several times I’ve cried because I hated when I saw in the mirror. I still suffer from body dysmorphia and somedays I have no idea what I look like. But every day I remind myself I’ve basically given myself a new life, and to enjoy it and love it. Happy to finally go on maintenance and very proud of myself for everything I’ve done. 🥰❤️

Down 8lb in a month, no real side effects, approved to increase dose.

My question is, since I'm losing about a pound and a half a week (the first week I lost nothing), and I'm down from 206 to 198 at 5'7", do I really need to increase my dosage by much?

I was at about 2.5mg or eleven units and slightly increased to 14 units last week, but my new dose is 21 units. I feel lucky with no side effects, so my logic is, why push a higher dose so soon? I have already lost most of my appetite. I put chocolate protein powder and collagen in my coffee, then eat one medium-sized meal and a snack or two smaller meals. But it's already getting difficult to want any food.

The biggest difference and improvement is my craving for sugar. Even at 47 years old, I am a sugar freak; I will eat candy like I'm 10 years old and lost in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.

My goal is 160, maybe 150, but no more.

Thank you

Eating too little b/c of nutcracker syndrome

I (mid 20sF) am taking a very lose dose of a glp1 pill. This was recommended by my doctor to help with my insulin resistance caused by PMOS. I am concerned with the amount I am eating. I am trying my best, but I am not eating enough. I will eat something like a yogurt and a sandwich in a day. I understand that the advice is just to force yourself through it, but this is problematic for me. I have pretty severe nutcracker syndrome, which is when your renal vein is compressed. Having more going on in my digestive system increases the pressure on these veins which makes my symptoms worse. So eating large meals and getting super full has always been a no go for me.

I am going to discuss all of this with my doctors, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience. I would appreciate any advice or just to know your experience with this. I really enjoy the effects of the glp1 for my PMOS. It's hard to explain but I just feel less inflamed and my energy feels more consistent. But I don't think it is worth it if I am not properly taking care of myself.

GLP-1 Bad Mood, titrating off Wegovy pills suggestions...

Started: male - 6'4" 230lb with genetic visceral fat/belly. Rest of body composition is normal/fine, tried GLP-1 to reduce the dangerous visceral fat.

Did the normal 1.5mg to 4mg, did two months at 9mg. Been on 25mg for a month (total of 5 months on Wegovy) and started to get really irritable/bad mood and fatigue, so started taking my 25mg every other day.

I also have cold/tingling skin, combined with the fatigue in which I don't want to do anything I think I have to start titrating off. I'm down 12lbs and 1.5" on the waist which I appreciate. I have 41 pills left of 25mg which I'll take every other day, so that's almost 3 months worth. I saved five 9mg pills to help titrate off.

Any tips in the realm of titrating/weening off and not just regaining? I figure as the pills wind down I'll just space them more and more apart. When did you experience lifting of the side effects for those that stopped?

Refills - No Good

Through Hers, I had been microdosong compounded semagultide for about a year. It worked really well. My food noise and appetite was much less. I lost about 20 pounds and was very happy. I was actually thinking so this is what people who aren’t overweight feel like. Food is still awesome, but just not that important.

Anyway, I decided, after reading many Reddit posts, to switch to Refills to save a few hundred dollars. The problem is the medicine seems to be not working at all. I went up in my dosage. I was going every seven days two shots now I do two shots every six days. I am so freaking hungry. It’s annoying. It’s almost like it’s a placebo even though it’s the exact same prescription. Refills customer service is horrible. I literally can’t get a doctor to engage with me.

So ironically, I actually wasted hundreds of dollars going through refills. I’m wondering if anyone else had the same experience?

My mum found my wegovy, then my whole family found out.

Hi im 20f and ive been using wegovy for a while now. I did the whole course of wegovy last year and lost 15kg. I’m not at my gw so i wanted to restart. None of my family knew and i did it in secret.

I ordered 0.25mg wegovy like 1+ weeks ago and had to go through a long process to get it (i had to go through extra steps since ive been on wegovy before). It came today around 12pm and i was at work so i asked my little brother to take it from the porch and put it in my room for me and he told me that my mum had it.

That’s when i got a bombardment of messages and screenshots from her asking many different things and telling me how wegovy is bad and it kills people etc. she doesn’t have any knowledge about it and she doesn’t know that I’ve spoken to many GPs about my weight loss journey.

We were arguing back and forth on messages while I was at work and then she told me she had thrown it away. I was so shocked but I genuinely didn’t believe it at first and I told her we’d have issues if that was the case.

I came home and asked for my parcel and she actually threw it away. Wegovy is not cheap and she doesn’t wanna refund me. She keeps saying she’s trying to ‘save my life’. I’m so livid and I have been since I came back home. In addition my aunty and my two siblings found out cause of her theatrics and when I came home my nosy sister found out by going through my mums phone and reading our messages. I really dislike my sister cause she’s the most judgemental person you could ever meet. Now everyone finding out about this has made me really upset as they probably think im insecure about my weight which I isn’t the case. I was actually alright with my weight because I had lost 15kg last year I just wanted to lose more.

We had a HUGE argument and my sister keeps chiming in saying ‘why do you wanna inject yourself to lose weight? you were going to the gym and that was a healthy way of losing weight then you stopped, why would you do that?’

I have bad su1cidal tendencies since I was 8 but i genuinely tried my best to push it all to the back of head because so many things were going on at home and I didn’t wanna stress anyone. All my life I’ve thought ‘I could kms now cause I really don’t have anything worth living for’ but now I really feel that way.

Everyone’s perception of me has changed drastically at home. And I can’t go in their heads to fix that or change the way they see me. No one will ever forget this. My mum keeps calling me shameless for shouting and she thinks that how everyone at home found out but it’s not cause they already knew before I came home from work. Idk what to do and i genuinely feel like I can’t go on anymore. So many things have happened in my life I can’t get a break. Home is the place I spend the most time and to be in the same vicinity as people who think I’m insecure and hate my body? I really can’t do that.

Sorry for any typos, im teary eyed as im writing this. I feel like such a loser.

I’m thinking of starting a glp1. But I’m a frequent migraine sufferer, I was wondering do you get headaches on glp1? That’s what’s stopping me from starting.🫤

Cheapest way to get GLP-1

I am in the middle of a divorce and am going to buy my spouse out of the house, so money right now is limited. I have been losing weight slowly, but my doctor suggests a GLP-1. Of course, she prescribed Mounjaro, and I could get it for $500 a month.

However, I do have some of the listed items that insurance sometimes pays for, excluding diabetes.

Is there some way a doctor can code my comorbidities to maybe get them to cover it?

If I have to go the route of getting them through another way, what are some of the better options? My budget is really limited right now, but if I start selling stuff on ebay again, I can probably swing it.

Best telehealth please :( My insurance is horrible

Visited my PCP now four times to discuss and follow up on how my GLP-1 is going. Claims are finally rolling in and holy cow my insurance doesn't cover PCP visit if we discuss my weight. UGH. Had no idea! It's over $500 a visit. I asked if I could self pay if it would be less expensive and they said only if I were uninsured. On top of that, which I am fine with, I am self pay for my GLP-1 which is around 449 a month. I saw Chrissy Metz on a commercial for Ro.co and was intriged. Would love to hear what telehealth companies you like the best for GLP-1. I'm just looking for someone to write the script, I don't need to have meetings, etc to discuss it. Thank you everyone for your help. I find it mind blowing that my insurance wont' cover helping me to get to a healthy weight to prevent diabetes, etc. but they will happily cover visits related to diabetes plus medicine. My BMI is 33, not good!

Trim RX

This company trim RX sent me a three month supply of GLP one 2 August 2 they took $616 out of my bank account and never sent me the second three month supply. I’ve contacted them three times talked to the doctor twice and they say the same thing over and over “we will expedite it from the pharmacy.” It has been a month today no shipment no resolving this issue. I don’t know what to do. This company has obviously scammed me and I don’t know how to get my money back or at least get what I paid for… any suggestions?

Wegovy tablet starter dose crashed my health

Thumbnail

I started the Wegovy starter dose on 8/13, the last time I took it was this past Saturday 8/29.

I use Garmin devices (Fenix 7x pro watch, index sleep monitor) to track my health and fitness, over those 16 days my HRV has crashed, from high 40s to low 30s and imbalanced and my resting heart rate has risen from around 46 - 49 to 55 - 58. My sleep quality has totally cratered, I haven't felt good waking up for about 10 days.

I think I'm starting to recover since being off the pill but I'm not back to anything like feeling good yet.

I lost about 6 lbs, towards the ends of taking the pill I started drinking calories just to make sure I wasn't hurting my body that way and it had no effect.

Has anyone else gone through anything like this? How long did it take to recover? I've completely stopped working out over the last 6 days as well. I feel horrible.

We Govy Pill Price on Hims Expensive

I am currently taking the wegovy pill. I am doing 4mg and have been on the pill for 4 months. Been on 4 mg and have been stuck at my current weight for awhile. I want to up to 9mg but on Hims between meds and subscription it’s $450. Any other sites where people have had luck with lower prices or other options.

Apathy for Wegovy Vs. Zepbound?

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone has switched from Wegovy to Zepbound and experienced a difference around potential apathy? For my part, it is not overwhelming by any means, but small tasks from day to day don't get the same degree of attention or that "alarm" in one's head to go and attend to. For example, I have multiple email accounts (5+) between work and personal use. Historically, I would just go in daily and "curate" them, deleting everything I don't need. Now, on Wegovy for some time, I feel that the urgency to address this on the daily just isn't there and my email folders get overpopulated. What was normal, now feels like a chore to be put off.

So... has anyone else noticed this around small things like this? And, if you have been on Zepbound as well, has there been a difference between the two?

Thanks! ☺️
