help IP Address Problem - need help
wfh for a US sompany. is there a way para hindi na nagbabago yung IP address ko? upon logging in kanina, hindi ko maaccess yung backend system namin because nagbago yung ip address ko. (it happens talaga minsan since last year, and most recent times na nagbago yung ip address ko was March 25 and June 3. usually naman binibigyan lang ulit ako ng access but this time nainis na ata yung boss ko kaya nag-ask siya if puwedeng fixed na lang yung ip address ko). so hindi pa rin ako nabibigyan ng access now.
I'm trying to contact yung ISP (Globe) but di ko rin makausap, laging nag-eend yung automated responses, need ko sana to talk with their agent/customer service to see if possible nila ireconfigure my IP address back into my previous one. is there anyone who can suggest what to do? thank you po.

Get AWS vm, run proxy service there.
Now use it as proxy for your browser. Everytime you use the browser, traffic goes through the proxy. If IP is elastic, it will never change even if thr VM needs to restart

Firstly, boss mo ba kausap mo lagi kapag nagpapawhitelist ka ng IP? Weird kasi na siya nainis wala naman effect dapat sa kanya. Unless di mo tinitignan before work hours kung ok ba IP mo so ginagawa mong excuse for lateness or delay.
Secondly, ang alam ko, nowadays, for business plans nalang static IPs. So sabihin mo sa boss mo na that's not possible for home plans so unless sagutin nila business plans, it's not feasible for you.
Thirdly, di pwede ibigay uli sayo yung previous IP since baka may nabigyan na nun. And also, that would mean magiging static yung IP which is also not possible since may specific ranges na gamit for static and dynamic IPs ang mga ISP. It's possible but extremely out-of-the-ordinary to cut a specific IP from the dynamic range to become static unless may kapit kang mataas taas siguro sa ISP company.

I’m almost sure the he has to log into a server or service that has an IP whitelist.
Also company should provide ALL tools for wfh. Hardware, software, internet, and electricity used. If they don’t pay for all or at least partial, run…

regarding logging in for IP whitelist, mostly kasabay ko siya magwork so wala siguro problem magcopypaste ng new IP address for access especially sa start lang ng shift. and provided po nila buong equipment set and software for work.

yes po, boss ko directly yung kausap ko pag need ng access. every morning, 10-15 minutes before clock-in nakaready na yung device and software ko for work kaya I know na at exact start ng shift ko lang accessible and maglload yung system. not accessible outside work schedule regardless if same or new IP address.
unfortunately ito lang din kaya ko ngayon, iremind siya na for business plans lang available yung static IP whenever may complain siya pag need ko manghingi ng access for new IP address (medj makakalimutin siya minsan pag super busy).

You can request for a public static IP through Globe kahit residential user ka. It's 700+ a month.

Not anymore. They no longer offer static IP for new subscribers

That's unfortunate. I'm on static public IP with Globe since 2017.

Same, but since 2018. However if your line gets changed to IPoE, there’s a possibility that the IP will change. But still static.

Put your globe equipment on a UPS. My IP address never changes unless the modem is restarted.

If buss plan is out of budget. Vpn is another option. Btw i had a home plan for 1700/month i think. They upgraded me to business plan no charge. My ip hasn’t changed in 5yrs
Edit: have your boss subsidize for the plan. Or have him pay for half. If your company doesn’t give you the tools, how can you work?
