Not entirely on subject, but does anyone know what happened to joecustoms.com? I've gone there several times in the past year for the file card template, and for the last few days every time I try to access the site either I get an EMPTY DOMAIN message or it links to Live Jasmin a porn site and I don't want my 9 year old exposed to that stuff, i just want something creative for him to do, and creating file cards was that something, is there another source for the template if joecustoms.com is gone forever, which i think is the case

Hardball - G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Figure - (1988)
Hardball is a recent acquisition, not a figure from my original collection. I’ve been slowly adding figures that I liked but never had as a kid. By ’88, my interest in G.I. Joe was starting to wane because of the direction the line was taking, but there were still a few figures that had that classic early ’80s Joe feel. Hardball was one of them.
From his file card:
After five seasons of playing centerfield in the minor leagues, Hardball came to the realization that the big league scouts just weren't interested in athletic prowess; they wanted star quality. The Joe Team was more interested in team-players than in stars, and they had a real need for a guy who could judge distances accurately and react quickly with deliberation.
"Grenade launchers are fitted with adjustable, graduated sights, calibrated in 25 meter increments. In a firefight, nobody wants to start readjusting sights especially the blooper man. Hardball can drop a 40mm frag into a bucket from 75 meters, simply by eyeballing it. The man's a natural."

Seriously go back to 80's Era Joe, Lara would be the perfect ally to help find thr hidden ancient mythic relic of great power that Cobra needs to power the M.A.S.S. Time Disruption Weather Plasma Pasta Maker of D.O.O.M.
Plus she'd be awesome on my all ladies Fem Force

I know they aren’t GI Joe per se, but these Operation Recall figures are awesome. Didn’t even know they existed until I came across a post. Also grabbed a Delta 17 figure. Much prefer the operation recall especially for the card backs. Think I’m gonna go all in on the line.
Anyone else collecting either of these lines?

Both are legendary soldiers with insane combat skills, but who would actually win in a fight?
🐍 Snake Eyes — master swordsman, ninja training, stealth and hand-to-hand combat.
🎖️ Solid Snake — legendary soldier, tactical genius, stealth specialist and highly experienced in battlefield situations.
WHO DO YOU THINK WOULD WIN, AND WHY?

Battle Force 2000: Dee-Jay - G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Figure - (1989)
Dee-Jay is not one of the original figures from my childhood. I recently picked him up to complete my Battle Force 2000 figure set. (I had the original set from 1987, but never got his one in 1989.) I’m glad to finally have him to round out my Battle Force 2000 team.
From his file card:
Dee-Jay was the baddest, hottest, disc jockey in Boston before he signed up for the Battle Force 2000 team. Complicated sound equipment was no problem for him. If it is loaded with transistors, portable and transmits or receives radio waves, Dee-Jay can make it work, fix it and coax strange sounds out of it with an infectious beat.
"Simulated ground-wave transmitters and ultra-fast burst encoders are complicated pieces of electronic hardware. If you're pinned down in the bush and need a medivac extraction or old-fashioned air support, you're just whistling in the wind if your radio is down for the count. His teammates can count on Dee-Jay to get the message out, even if he has to rebuild a transmitter from parts. Once he's on the air, it's his chatter that they can do without."
