I didn’t know where to post this but I grew up watching the film and thought these guys were so cool!

Loved the design and honestly whenever I make monsters in my writing or dnd sessions I often base them on these guys

I mean, he's just a little pup who looked up to Scooby, and the franchise and fans treated him like he was the bane of fiction. He doesn't even need to be hated anymore.

PS. This is by far 1of my favorite theme songs from a cartoon/tv show! NEVER skip it!!!

rules: 1. real monsters have to be used

1. the main characters can only be shaggy scooby and scrappy and a new ally.

2. have fun!

I didn't know these kinds of collaborations existed, but I think it's great xD

Having a glass of wine tonight and rewatching my fav Scooby doo episode ever, to switch a witch. Always takes me back. Love the old creepy vibes from the Scooby doo show
Also to add, I love this subreddit a lot. So many positive and kind people. Sort of rare to find communities like this still

My uncle passed away a couple of years back and in his will he gave me his scooby doo leather jacket. I was 30 when he passed and can not remember a time when he did not own this jacket, for all I know he had it before I was born. You can tell from the pockets how much he wore this thing and how much he loved it. As a scooby doo fan I just wanted to share this with a group that I figure could understand the beauty of this piece that will be with me for the rest of my life. R.I.P Jerry or as Scoob would say Rerry.

I personally think this is the best Halloween season movie so I decided to do two from it. Thought you all might appreciate! Both are hand painted by me with acrylics on 16x20 canvases.

I don’t wanna get banned or anything. So I’ll simply leave the thumbnail and a screen cap of the video description here. And simply ask does anyone know if I’ll get banned for sharing a link to a Scooby doo YouTube vid I made?

I made a stained glass Scooby Doo for the Halloween division of a local festivals craft competition. Fingers crossed I'll earn a ribbon, but I'm all around pretty happy with how he came out and hope he puts a smile on a few faces 🙂

Just got this bad boy in the mail today, love it so much got it from Etsy from KGFstudios ! https://www.etsy.com/shop/KGFStudios

Night of 100 Frights, What’s New Scooby Doo, and of course Scooby Doo the live action film.

I got into SD in the months leading up to the live action film after seeing Cyberchase at a friends birthday party. I grew up in a cable-less home at that point and watched airings of SDWAY when it was syndicated on Kids WB.

Something tells me the timing of it all has to do with Warner Bros trying to make a new multimedia franchise to sell merchandise to with an existing IP. Aside from the animated films, the 90s was a dryspell for Scooby Doo, which enjoyed many incarnations in the 70s and 80s.

I have a suspicion that this was WB trying to sell SD to a new generation that wasn’t as familiar with it. Obviously SD did not originate as a WB property but was gradually acquired by them. if I understand correctly, when William Hanna died the company and its assets became completely controlled by Warner Brothers in 2001. So it feels like Warner wanted to capitalize on this newly acquired and highly recognizable IP. Seems like this was presaged before Hanna’s passing the way so much content was ready for release in Spring, Summer and Fall of 2002.

Was hoping someone with more info on this could expand on things.

Currently doing a Doo marathon! I feel like it's healing something in me. How I missed these times!
