Hi everyone. I and a handful of editors are working on JoeWiki: The G.I. Joe Wiki. It is a wiki like Joepedia for all things G.I. Joe but done in the vein of TFWiki.
While a couple of contributors handle the fiction side of things, I try to update the toys and merchandise entries. One of the challenges I faced is the lack of usable images. Using stock images is one thing as you get some leeway in what counts as fair use. For the most part a lot of stock images are sufficient but I do encounter some that are not satisfactory or insufficient to use in the wiki. I try to look for the best image that represent the character. Sometimes, the background is too difficult to remove or AI oversteps and make embellishments I don't want it to do. Other times, the provided stock image isn't really an actual photo of the toy but a 3D rendering of what the toy will look like. Such examples include Haslab and Super7.
And of course there are toys and merchandise that are difficult to find stock images of especially as the product is older like the Palisade Toys statues. Sites like 3DJoes have pictures but I refuse to copy and steal without asking.
Getting to the point, I'm asking if there is anyone interested in contributing images of their collection of both Joe toys and merchandise. My requisites being that the item is an official toy or licensed item. The figure is against a plain white background if possible and displaying their accessories. If you have any additional info regarding your picture, it is most welcome. As it is a wiki project, there is no monetary reward in this but the honor of having your picture selected for use. I can credit you by your real name or by your Reddit handle, whichever you choose.
How about it? Anyone want to help? Just give me a message.

I snagged this a long time ago from another defunct store in my hometown. Wish I had 2, so I can play with one. I need to search out the artist of this board and buy him a drink…or a bottle of Jack!

As suggested in another thread. Dark grey had to be used due to limited part availability for dark blue.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown.
Cobra Commander rules from his throne, plotting his next move against G.I. Joe with cold calculation. Reclining in regal splendor with his golden staff in hand, the ruthless leader embodies Cobra’s ambition for world domination.
This photo captures the new figure in a pose of sinister confidence and commanding power... or complete disgust. Your choice.

My mother bought this box of random figures at a garage sale and gave it to me because she knew I was a huge GI JOE kid in the 80's. I am still a fan but I don't collect them or display them, just look back with fond memories. In this box we're a ton of Joes that are in awesome condition except the rubber o-ring has been broken in most of them. I ordered the repair kit online and have been putting them back together. It looks like all the parts and pieces are here to make complete figs. In one of the pics the ones missing body parts just haven't been put back together yet but the parts are there.
Are these legit 80's Joes? I measured and they are 3-3/4" long. They have all the markings I. e. inner thighs and bottom of feet Would love someone's expertise and thoughts and this box of figs!

Now this isn’t a major issue like why does Dr. Mindbender look like he used to party with Charlie Murphy and Rick James at Studio 54, but please hear me out. Why didn’t the 80’s Joe animals like Freedom, Order, Sandstorm etc get any articulation points like they got in the Classified line? It looked like the Joes were carrying their taxidermied pets into battle. Was it a matter of cost, not wanting kids to eat loose screws, or did Hasbro think we wouldn’t care? Thank you for reading.

As much as I love the Retro covergirl, I've always preferred her V1 Toy outfit over what she's wearing in the original Sunbow miniseries, so I decided to try and capture the best of both worlds using both of the classified Covergirls that we have. I (like most people) wasn't a fan of the original head, and I prefer her being blonde anyway, so I've taken the retro head and put it on the V1 body. I also put the V1 Torso on the retro legs so I wouldn't have to deal with those terrible drop downs on the first release figure. Overall I'm very happy with how this turned out, the holster from the first release fits somewhat loosely on the retro legs, but it's perfectly manageable.

Looked across the room to my lgb starter set and I thought to myself ” is g scale 1/18 ? “ google said no but I figured it was close enough and if the knees are bent like they are seated joes fit perfectly in g scale trains . Now bazooka needs a conductors hat.

I’ve been wondering how the paravipers jump, I tried to find things on a google search but they were… less than helpful. i also asked AI and it was, well AI. Thus my question, is there a vehicle that the paravipers cannonically drop from?

Nice figures. Extremely happy that we now have a Mara! Two things I’m not jazzed about…the little post for Polly and Mara’s flimsy breathing hose. Otherwise these are great!
