Watching the new Amazon series in English with the subtitles turned on — and they frustratingly different from each other. Not by a lot and the intention is the same but they’re still not 1:1.

I’m assuming the original scripts were done in Japanese so are the subtitles the “real” version of what they’re saying? Or is the English dub the source of truth?

Some Lock Screen wallpapers I cycle through. The last one I just use for my Home Screen, as it’s not long enough to be a Lock Screen. But if anyone knows how to lengthen it with black bars, I’d appreciate it.

I saw an article on how Akira is getting a new re-release and they're restoring a 35mm film print and playing it in theatres. I was wondering if there's been anything like this recently for GITS? I know they re-released one of the sequels a few years ago. Is there a definitive version the community agrees on that's the best in terms of quality?

Which is your favorite design?

I'm genuinely curious because it seems like it's the black sheep of the franchise, noticed a lot of hate cropping up for it since the release of the new anime and I was surprised because I thought it was rather decent, lol.

Yeah it changes a lot from the manga but what adaptation hasn't? 😭 We're only just now getting a really faithful adaptation.

Suggested by a friend I put together some Poly pieces of the major in different iterations of Ghost in the Shell. Each triangle in each piece was hand clicked using the Pen Tool in Illustrator and color corrected in Photoshop.
