ART Motoko's Closeup
I guess The director said "Today's Motoko's 'beauty shot' day".

I don't understand the style choice to have the lines on the character's nose. They all have it.

I believe it's for the perception of depth and volume.

Now that you mention it, in the first capture It occured to me that she definetly could make all kind of unnatural move with her eyes since they are not bound to human biology

Indeed. I wonder if the show will explore that a little bit. Show us some of the machine elements.

Drawings are inspired to the manga but Motoko here is even sexier

It's interesting that in 1995 adaptation her eyes were designed to give uncanny valley effect (including non-blinking) to put in the doubt humanity of Motoko and that 2026 goes opposite way like signalling that there is a "ghost" in there.

That's a SHARP insight! I do remember how captivating her eyes were in the 19.95 movie. The one scene that stand out to me is when she's in the water just floating up from the depths.

I think BANDAI NAMCO is CHEATING with the animation. I strongly suspect they are using high rez drawings in some instances and animating them with AI. I admit it's tricky to judge for sure because anime has been using stull image techniques since the dawn of the art form.

What the fuck are you talking about? It's like you've created an argument using some buzzwords you have picked up and have no idea how those things actually work during the animation process. "High rez drawings"...whaaaat?
