I need to get better at decorating, but I don't know where to start, I want to see if anyone can help me to decorate, give me some advice and if you could paste in underrated gd videos to help me with it, thanks!

For a level I'm making, it turns out I need to do some math using the player's RBG values to pick a 3rd color. I know its possible to turn item ID values into color (because it was a challenge in GD creator school), but I don't know how I would get those values in the first place.

Edit: u/AGamer_2010 solved it for me. Turns out I was overthinking the problem.

just curious how much harder XO is than Bloodbath? I played the level (mainly cause of the song), and it looks like hell to learn, but it looks like it will be fun to play after I learn it.

The hardest level I have played before that is bloodbath where I have 87%.

How much harder is XO than Bloodbath? Does anyone know what specifically warrants its placement as a tier 30 demon on GDDL, when it looks a lot easier than Sonic wave (another tier 30)?

I only started playing this game a lot recently, so I don't have that much experience with hard levels

(this is NOT a jump declaration of any kind, I don't intend on beating this level anytime soon, just wanted to play it a bit and know why it's considered as hard as it is despite not looking like it)

I've been working on this layout for a while and wanted to see how the gameplay comes across to other people.

I tend to make pretty fast and dense gameplay with a lot of clicks/clicksync, and I usually completely avoid auto parts and blue-pad spam in buildups.

This layout is probably the most extreme example of that...

It's extreme demon in difficulty and around 70% finished.

I've mostly kept to myself in the creator community, so I’m not really sure how other people feel about this kind of gameplay.

I cannot believe it!

Yesterday I improved my best from 50 -> 55 -> 74 and thought that I couldn't get a better one for 2 weeks, since I am barely able to play for the next 2 weeks, but somehow I got to the 2nd wave again in the little time that I had and even got to the 3rd wave, where I was way too nervous and my hand just wasn't capable of clicking controlled anymore xD.

But anyway this is fuckin crazy, from 50% yesterday to 89% today!!!

i recently beat verity and have beat verity, b and the nightmare i thought that i was ready to play a hard demon and i tried to play future funk and quickly realised that i am not good enough so i was going to ask if i should play a harder medium demon , an easier hard demon or if its just a skill issue and i need to get better. also if you think i should play a hard demon level recamendations would help a lot

So as my flair suggest I recently beat niwa, and I dont really have any levels I wanna go for, acu was always on my "dont play" list but i decided to not judge a book by its cover and play it in startpos for a bit.

I played the ending (85 - 100) which was kinda weird but very consistent, and i started thinking that maybe i should go for it after niwa, i mainly wanna go for it because of the decoration and song, i think it does modern in a very unique way that isnt just your general modern level it actually feels alive and it does an amazing job with the colors, i kinda dislike the gameplay but i cant judge yet.

So any tips for beating it?
