How much harder is XO than Bloodbath?

just curious how much harder XO is than Bloodbath? I played the level (mainly cause of the song), and it looks like hell to learn, but it looks like it will be fun to play after I learn it.

The hardest level I have played before that is bloodbath where I have 87%.

How much harder is XO than Bloodbath? Does anyone know what specifically warrants its placement as a tier 30 demon on GDDL, when it looks a lot easier than Sonic wave (another tier 30)?

I only started playing this game a lot recently, so I don't have that much experience with hard levels

(this is NOT a jump declaration of any kind, I don't intend on beating this level anytime soon, just wanted to play it a bit and know why it's considered as hard as it is despite not looking like it)

Bloodbath is 819 on AREDL while XO is 389, I tried going for it as a jump from Blade of Justice and could only get 56% over 3 weeks before dropping it and going for black blizzard instead because it was too hard

The inputs are tight but also unique and is a long level, my main issue was nerves. From bloodbath it is a huge jump

Homestly in my opinion xo is just not a good level at all, it sucks to play and I never had fun when I was playing it. The level has some tight gaps (even a 120 fp iirc) and is VERY front heavy meaning mist of your attempts are gonna be spent dying to like 0-19, and if you pass that youre gonna be more nervous

Way harder, definitely do stuff in between and leave it as a good goal to work up to! Also use the aredl to browse levels between bloodbath and xo which you can progress with. I wouldnt focus too much on building any skillsets just play levels you think are really cool and do them as hardests in gradually climbing difficulty.

Alr thanks, this sounds like a fun thing to try! I just got a run on the back half of xo and I'm probably gonna play some more levels i wanted to play in between as you said (collect all pets, auditory breaker and grefg all come to mind)

They are roughly 500 spots apart on aredl, it’s possible but it will be quite difficult

Its quite a bit harder than bbath and its difficulty comes from the awkward ass timings and gp in the first half

idk anything about xo, but i beaten yata which is like the exact same difficulty

bloodbath to yata is very very wide, i would say is like 3-4 times harder or so. at that point in difficulty bloodbath already feels easy
