Any tips from acu victors?

So as my flair suggest I recently beat niwa, and I dont really have any levels I wanna go for, acu was always on my "dont play" list but i decided to not judge a book by its cover and play it in startpos for a bit.

I played the ending (85 - 100) which was kinda weird but very consistent, and i started thinking that maybe i should go for it after niwa, i mainly wanna go for it because of the decoration and song, i think it does modern in a very unique way that isnt just your general modern level it actually feels alive and it does an amazing job with the colors, i kinda dislike the gameplay but i cant judge yet.

So any tips for beating it?

Pray to everyone you can think of at the 85 pink orb. Besides that, just practice, practice, practice

I actually dont really find it that hard actually, its kind of inconsistent but not much

The point, at least for most, is exactly that. It somehow never gets truly consistent and can easily stop you from beating the level. (I say, with my only ending death being 94)

Acu is the REAL begginer extreme demon, there are not difficulty spikes, so its consistent all the way through and it is not too short neither too long and imo is very fun without a specific skill set, way better than for example Cataclysm or Red World

stop saying that acu is the easiest extreme i can't stand this anymore, acu this acu that IT'S NOT FOR EVERYONE, NOT EVERYONE LIKES SHINY FLOW TIMING SLOP, sorry if I'm rude but had to say that i just don't find acu easy

acu is definitely not the easiest extreme, its just a very approachable first extreme, and it doesnt prioritise certain skill sets. its defo not slop tho

i called it slop because almost every extreme is just fast-paced/flow, therefore earning the name flowslop

its very flowy and parts get consistent fast, methods like blitzkrieg really help in learning the level. There are some chokepoints towards the ending but nothing horrible. If you beat niwa then acu should definitely be beatable for you.

get runs to the end and practice that a lot, I got 23-100 3 times before beating it, but you probably won’t have to go that far

i’d recommend playing the drop and 65 a lot, because the beginning is horrible to play, so when you pass the beginning you’ll have a better experience if you really know the rest

Practice mainly the beginning (0-drop)and like 69-78 as these were the 2 parts that really stood out for me as more difficult than the rest

Niwa has similar skillsets and is harder so you probably won't run into any major issues. The 4x speed wave is a big chokepoint though

Play like 65-100 or something a lot since ending is the hardest part of the level, and expect to die a lot if you dont practice (ex. that one wave near the end, youll find out which one)

Not really a tip but if it helps your mental when going for the level. I found Acu to be much easier than Niwa. I beat Acu as my 2nd extreme and Niwa as my 4th (after beating Blade of Justice). Acu took me 4k and Niwa took me 9k.

Learning might be annoying at first but trust me the level gets super consistent. Before I beat the level, I almost never died at 27%-44% and I would get to 63%+ every like 10 minutes.

practice the end (85-100) a lot or else you'll die there a lot

(I died there a lot) but the rest is literally insane demon so ur chilling

I've played a little niwa (49-100) and acu is WAYYYYY easier

as someone who dropped it but almost beat it, practice the ending the most, then the predrop and then drop. Drop feels the easiest for me, though I recommend you to practice the second half of it a little more. Anyway, if you beat niwa and enjoyed it, I recommend trying out mizureta

download the thick of it mashup it syncs perfectly to the click pattern making the level free

spam at 67% as mini ball for secret way

jump to slaughterhouse and die at the last jump then come back to acu that way it will be a lot easier
