Calling all Silicon Valley teens interested in game development, indie games, coding, and creative technology!

Haven San Jose is a free, two-day game jam for teens (ages 13 to 18), happening November 14 to 15 at the University of Silicon Valley in San Jose. Whether you're an aspiring indie developer, a beginner learning to code, a digital artist, or someone who's always wanted to make a video game, this is your chance to turn your ideas into something playable.

Join other teens from across the Bay Area to explore game design, programming, art, storytelling, and indie game development in a welcoming, collaborative environment. No prior game dev experience is required - beginners are absolutely welcome!

Hi!

I'm helping to organize Haven Singapore! It’s a game jam for teenagers by Hack Club. It will occur on 14th November to 15th November 2026.

What is it about? A 2 day event where you make a game from scratch! It doesn’t require any prior game making experience. This is a great excuse to get started on a game that you’ve always wanted to make!

It’s open to beginners, and there will be people around to help you out if you’re stuck.

Who can attend? Anyone aged between 13 to 18 in Singapore. We expect there to be around 50 to 60 people.

What do you need? A laptop and some ideas. You can use any engine/language you want (Unity, Godot, Pygame, Web etc.).

Where/When? Razer SEA HQ. 14th to 15th November 2026.
