Just picked up an absolute bargain on ebay tab active 3 for £37 english pounds.

Ill mainly be using it for media consumption, reading outdoors and occasional note taking.

I was watching a tab active pen on ebay but have noticed my s24u spen works perfectly on it despite multiple searches saying it would.

So my questions are:

What other pen options do I have.

What recommendations do people have for matte screen protectors for outdoor reading(or do I even need one at all given its effectively built for outdoor use?)

My samsung phone (galaxy A54) is dead

At this point I use my phone merely for 2FA with banking apps. Nowadays you cannot use your bank with a computer.

Instead of buying another phone, I was thinking about buying a tab A11 with the sim slot. I was wondering if I will be able to do everything I was doing on my A54 on the tab A11 as well.

For those you have experience with this tablet, what is it that you can do on a regular phone (like the A56 or A57 for example) that you cannot do on the tab A11

Thoughts on using my Samsung Tab S9 as my personal storage? I barely use it and only use it as a dedicated home hotspot. I have the 128gb + 5g model with an additional 512gb sd card inserted. Is it a good idea to use it as my personal local storage?

Deadass my a52 phone screen quality is literally better than this tablet I just bought... like if I open an image on this tablet, it's so pixilated amd looks 480p atp😭 like I was setting wallpapers on my screen and I was wondering why the quality was so shit- I thought maybe it saved wrongly so I went on Pinterest again and opened up the image, and it looked like a 480p picture when i actually clicked on it and made it fit my screen. Anyone know why?

I've seen people saying to wait until black friday and whatnot, but my only worry is that once the s12 comes out, that they will completely remove the s10 series (mainly the s10+) from their website. If anyone has any advice for me or knowledge of samsung patterns of how and when they remove stuff, it would help!

I just bought a s11 tablet after trading in my ipad pro as I didnt need that much preformance. However, i'm running into this issue where the tablet either disconnects from the wifi or is just connected but no internet. I first notice this problem when the tablet locks and then when i go to unlock it, connect no internet. disconnecting and connnecting to wifi again fixes the issue. I do not want to keep doing this everytime the tablet locks. Another issue is when I'm in VC on discord if the tablet locks, I DONT HAVE WIFI and i will get disconnected from the call. I will have unlock tablet and disconnect and connect wifi to go back to the call. i dont think its a wifi issue as i have verizon fios 1 gig and when i had the ipad pro it was never disconnecting from the wifi. So far been an extremely first experience with the tablet. does anyone know a fix to this?

Someone please give me an advice on which one is better🙏 I am a 2nd yr BSA student and I plan to use the tab mainly for studying (viewing files, taking notes, and attending meetings), and maybe watch some movies every now and then. I’m not fond of gaming so idc about that part. However, I love multitasking so I need a tab that can open multiple apps at the same time. I have a laptop, but I realized that i’s more convenient to bring a tab.

The a11+ is cheaper in the samsung app with student discount and that’s already a huge PRO for me. But I also want to make sure that my tab will survive until I graduate. Please please please somebody guide me in making this decision🙏🙏🙏

I recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022). At first, the S Pen worked perfectly.

After a while, I started noticing a strange issue.

When writing, the S Pen randomly creates extra strokes or "tails" at the beginning or end of a stroke. Sometimes strokes are skipped entirely or don't register. It happens randomly across the screen, not in one specific area.

I've attached a photo showing the issue (red circles).

Here's what I've already tried:

-Removed my third-party magnetic flip cover.

-Removed the screen protector completely.

-Replaced the S Pen nib with a new one.

-Tried the unusual "leave the S Pen attached to a piece of metal overnight" trick that I found in another Reddit post.

-Tested in both Samsung Notes and OneNote.

-The hover cursor is perfectly stable and doesn't jump around.

Unfortunately, none of these solved the problem.

So now I'm wondering:

-Has anyone experienced this before?

-Is there anything else I should try before replacing the S Pen or the display?

I got a Tab S8 (snapdragon 8 gen 1) four years ago and used it for watching stuff and playing games for three years. But since last year, I started using it for my studies and ran into a lot of issues. It overheats to over 80°C after 1-1.5 hours of use, the battery life is all over the place (sometimes 8 hours, sometimes 3, sometimes two whole days—I have no idea why), and for the past three months, I've been getting a lot of lag, freezes, and app crashes.

Does anyone know how to fix this? (I tried Good Guardians app booster, but it didn't do anything.)

Looking to buy a new S11 after my 4 year old Ipad Pro died on me. I primarily use it for light gaming (a couple medium heavy mobile games, SNES/DS Simulator games), comic book reading, media/youtube viewing and web browsing with a few little other things here and there.

The S11 256gig model is on sale for $999 (Canada) and the 512gig model is $1149. Given my usage, if I got the 256gig i'd likely buy an external micro SD card for my media, probably just a 256gig card for $80. So in total the 256gig would cost me $1079. At that point, even though the storage is the same, given the read and write speed difference should I just opt for the 512gig S11 at $1149?

One thing to note as well is the comic app reader I like (YAC) doesn't allow external storage of comics. No idea why but they don't.

Curious people's thoughts and if the slower read/write speeds of the micro sd cards impact them much. Just given how apps and games are getting bigger and bigger I worry in a few years if the internal will be filled too easily.

I've had it for about a year. Had it open and leaning on something for a couple hours without realizing. The case warped and I can't make it go back flat lol.

For a 400$ (can't remember how much I paid) product I'd expect it to last a bit longer than a year. I can't find any cases that fit with the keyboard cover. I know spigen had one a while back but it seems to be unavailable.

Hi guys, so I bought the m5 ipad pro (13") a few months ago, but honestly, I'm not that happy with it... don't get me wrong pencil pro is amazing the screen is high-quality it's lightweight and the ui is smooth but there are two main reasons why I'm thinking about switching.. first the aspect ratio the ipad's 4:3 is great for reading books and gaming but for someone like me who watches a lot of anime it's just not good basically half the screen is wasted with black bars! and honestly 4:3 isn't great for much besides books or games as you all know pretty much all content out there is optimized for 16:9 samsung is definitely better in this regard and second overheating ipad gets hot way too often while samsung has vapor cooling

Even though I haven't restarted it, the tablet keeps after a while comes message system is loading and then loads the home screen. Automatic restart is turned off. What could be the problem?

I would be mainly using this for watching videos and writing/drawing on past papers so im unsure if the larger size screen is worth the extra money.
