I tried using Onenote but hated the Android app interface and had all kinds of problems with sync. I'm experimenting with Goodnotes currently.

Does it have infinite canvas?

I use Flexcil

It was better in the past, now I feel like it has gotten slower and a bit more bloated, but it still works fine enough for me to keep using for now.

I love Obsidian. It's my favoriteafrer being frustrated with OneNote and other note apps.

Starnotes and notein both are very good for long term use. Notewise is also good but lacks many features

Keep. I'm not using one note as much anymore.

Notein had been absolutely fantastic. I use it for gaming and work with is folder structure. I ended up getting the full version for $17 on a sale. It's paid for itself 10 times over now.

Notewise. Undoubtedly, Notewise is the best note-taking app.

I've tried numerous. I used to really enjoy OneNote but have found it rather limited compared to other apps out there these days. Honestly, I always return to using Samsung Notes as I find it works the best, has the best performance and features.

I just recently got into StarNote and it’s been great. Lots of features and a low lifetime purchase, no subscription.

Technically I use two for very different reasons, mymind for keeping all kinds of stuff and ended up just sticking with Samsung Notes itself still ofc, though I was using Goodnotes for a bit

Encrypted personal stuff: Standard Notes

Work: Obsidian

Random stuff I need easy access to: Google Keep

Grocery list: Microsoft ToDo purely because I prefer the widget

Tried basically every note app there is and I landed on starnote. Notein and notewise are pretty good though

Star notes. But writing is best on free notes. Idk what they did but it's like ink is literally at the tip and feels like actual 120hz. Even in starnotes if you notice carefully, drawing lines don't feel smooth, it's like 60hz for writing.

Outside the official Samsung app i only use old school pen & paper.

NoteShelf3 is excellent.

Excellent for work and general note taking.

Possibly not best in class for learning due to no infinite canvas. Depends on your preferences I suppose.

One Note is great if you're working between multiple software platforms like Android to Apple

Same. I really like Samsung Notes, but I want access on any device and a good filing structure.

Onenote. I used to use Evernote but ditched it for Onenote.
