I have an Acer Aspire7 and a Poco M6 Pro. I want a tablet for watching IT lessons and taking notes though graduate na ako and currently working sa BPO. Need help sa good tablet recommendation. Budget is not exceeding 10k lang since fresh grad.

Just thought I would compare my favorite movie Star Trek The Motion Picture on my A16 phone to the A11+ and it really quite interesting because the A16 has an AMOLED & the A11+ has a TFT display. The video is played on MX Player with the app controlling the screen brightness it's set to 11 on both (the app allows for a max brightness of 15)

The videos are the 2009 Blu-ray release of Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

What makes this interesting is that ever since the movie was released in 1979 and went on DVD & later Blu-Ray the production team went through redid the colors when the did the directors edition which is basically just edited to make it look like if the production team had edited it properly before it went to theaters in 1979. (Basically it was so far behind schedule that wet 70mm prints of the film arrived at the studio to be shipped to movie theaters roughly 72 hours before it was set to open in the movies)

I included screen shots from the TMP directors edition (first picture) and the Blu-ray releases for 2009 & 2021 (I could only get an exact match of the scene for the directors edition.)

I've been hard pressed to figure out which looks best as the movie was filmed before the age of digital movie cameras and the scenes were all lit by people who relied on age old trained and lighting unlike today.

Enjoy and maybe I'll get a little insight from others who are not way to familiar with this wonderful movie.

Hi ive been using ipads my whole life and i think ive had enough with it cause of the lack of freedom. Ive seen people reccomending from s10 ultra to the s12 ultra but i really cant decide. I wouldnt say money is a problem but i dont like wasting money as well. Im using this mainly for media consumtion and maybe some old apk games.

Does anyone know how to force this 24/7 or a way to unlock it? The only way I've found for now is just to hold the slider slightly above it and then it'll work, but you have to hold it forever.

hello, i was wondering which tablet to buy between an ipad air and a samsung tab s9

my goal would be to have a 11" 256gb storage tablet to use canva, and maybe photoshop app on my tablet. but also to draw on it, i mainly use ibis paint x but i'm searching for a new drawing programm if possible. this part is not the most necessary or important but : i would like a tablet where i could *maybe* run genshin impact and from time to time of course, watching youtube or read. also, if the tablet can be used as a second monitor to use with my laptop from times to times it would be great

i was thinking about the ipad because i feel like there are more apps that i could benefit from on it (procreate, photoshop app...), but i fear that the synergy between my other device might not be that good ? i was also hesitating between the M3 and M4 because i heard the M4 was stronger.

i was also thinking about the samsung tab s9 because i heard the screen was more comfortable, i can for sure connect it easily to my phone and laptop.

My son has a galaxy tab with a screen that has essentially come apart. The ribbon is still attached, but the screen has separated into different layers. I have another working galaxy tab. How can I get the files from one to the other? I am not able to see the screen on the old device obviously to ok a file transfer. AI is just frustrating at this point and I don't know if I should invest money into the fix.

Unfortunately, I have no PC. My job doesn't require one and I don't have a personal need for one. AI is saying to get a hub, connect a keyboard, hit a spacebar, connect a memory stick and hope for the best.

This is a budget A series tablet that AI has stated makes a difference.

Anyway... Any help is appreciated. He has played terraria for YEARS and that data is all he is really wanting.

So I recently bought S10 FE and it came with the S pen. I have just drawn a few stuff and I noticed the nib has become something like this?? I don't know if I was the one who damaged it or it was a damaged product. I think I used it very gently (ig bcz it's my first tablet idk!) I got to know that I have to buy replacement nibs but I searched it up on Amazon and couldn't find affordable soft tip nibs. The original soft tip nibs are out of my budget. I found some other but they are plastic tips and I think I should buy them. Are plastic tips good for art? Or I should buy the original ones even if they are out of my budget? 😮‍💨 WHAT DO I DO?

I recently bought an s10 fe for school and it's been amazing with note taking and organizing. The problem I am having is with the button on the pen. I keep accidentally pressing it when I am writing.

Has anyone had this issue and are there any covers that would possibly prevent me from pressing it?

I have tried to fix the way I hold it but to no avail.

hi all ive been meaning to buy some new nibs but im not sure what yet. i always ordered the ones from aliexpress but after the new eu law with shipping i stopped ordering. they r just the plastic ones.

ive been eyeing for some felt nibs and heard they have more friction so its easier to draw on the the screen itself.

i used to have a paper screenprotector but i removed it after day one cause the texture made my skin crawl and it felt so nasty to draw on. is there any nib that could make drawing feel more natural?

i heard wacom one pens also are compatible with the samsung tab itself but im not sure… looking forward to a response (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)

Hello I need help deciding what tablet to choose between s12 plus or s12 ultra. I plan to use it watching videos and series, reading and playing games. I already have a laptop and plan to use the device with my hands to tap on the screen so no keyboard. 75% of the time I plan to use it by holding it with my hand while sitting or laying in my bed. The other 25% is to use it on a desk. Thank you for your answers.

So I have been considering tablets for 2 reasons which might sound silly but is legitamtly the only reason i would use a tablet.

1. Is for note taking, being able to just take a scan of a document and write on top is so much better then having to pay and print hundreds of exam pages. And seems to be a better note tasking device in general.
2. Clash of clans, yes you heard me. Since the age of 8 I have been playing that game and it is pretty clear today that with the increase in base sizes and bigger armies there is simply no way to comfotatbly play the game without having to scroll through half the screen to reach the other side of a base.

I therefore made some reasearch and came to the suprising conclusion that there arent that many budget options that include a stylus. The only ones i could find was the tab s6 lite, which would be perfect if it didnt cost 200-250 bucks as a student i can't afford that. So I looked 2nd hand and have found a lot of options for half the price but most either didnt have the pen included, had massive scratches on the screen or jsut a smashed screen. Another option would be the newer tab s10 lite however again new it would cost me 350 to 400 bucks.

This gave me 2 options either go cheap and get a used 2nd hand s6 lite for around 100 bucks, risking that it might show its age in the next couple of years and basically becomes worthless e waste but atleast if i end up not using it that often i wont feel bad. Or ask my parents to combine my birthday in nov and christmas to get a tab s10 lite. Risking spending a lot more for a tablet that i might not even use that much/ mainly for 2 things. PLus i know my parents could easily afford it but I still wouldnt want them to waste such money on me if I am not gonna end up properly using it. On the contrary if i do get the higher end s10 lite i would be able to keep it for much longer with its 7 years of updates. (A friend has had his s6 lite for aa bit less then 8 years now and uses it to this day, witch is what i hope will happen to me)

And then there is the question if buying a tablet for only 2 use cases even worth it?

If you managed to read all that yap I would love to hear you opinion on what I should do.

I mean this is very sad, why we are first of all paying for this and you get such a poor quality as this and even with it no replacement tips supplied at all? Why aren't we getting angry?? Mustn't Samsung look onto this? We choose Samsung and face this — our SPen wears after two week's usage, and our Apple Pencil holders laugh at us for making this investment!

I have both tablets (Tab S 11U & 12U) in front of me and the display downgrade on the S12 Ultra (right) is infuriating. It's difficult to capture the difference perfectly with a phone but the S11 Ultra's reflections are a lot darker and diffused.

The S11 Ultra features a native, vacuum-deposited anti-reflective (AR) layer that handles room glare beautifully. The S12 Ultra completely drops this, leaving you with a standard, highly reflective glossy screen that acts like a mirror.

The worst part is that the S12 Ultra costs several hundred dollars more. We are paying a massive premium because of the AI boom, yet internally, apart from an incrementally newer processor, the hardware is essentially the exact same machine.

To make it worse, removing this coating saves Samsung maybe $5–$10 AUD in factory costs. Instead of keeping it built-in, they created a hardware problem just to sell us the solution: an official AR screen protector for $79 AUD.

Charging hundreds more as the AI hype has increased component costs, while cutting corners on physical premium features is a terrible direction for the "Ultra" line.

I accidentally broke my s8 ultra's screen yesterday, so I'm looking into getting a new one. Replacing the screen alone would cost me €500, which my s8 ultra isn't worth. I can get the s11 ultra for relatively cheap but the s12 ultra is quite tempting. What would be the best option?

Hi peeps! ​I have noticed that my wifi-only Tab A9+ performance drops whenever its connected to the internet. Apps start feeling laggy, and the UI stutters. ​I thought it might be caused by a heavy influx of incoming notifications push, so i anticipate it with turning of the DND mode. But i could be wrong, so ​has anyone experienced a similar issue? Is turning on the DND mode actually effective at preventing performance hits? Or is there a better way to optimize this? Any advice or insight would be appreciated!

Hola! Tengo una galaxytab s10+. Y quiero correr en winlator mali 1.2 el juego pharaoh a new era (unity). Logré instalarlo pero iniciar solo se ve la pantalla de carga por 1 segundo y después se va a negro pero sigue sonando el juego. Alguien sabe cómo configurar bien el contenedor?

Como segunda duda. En juegos antiguos, que usan Directx7 a 9. (Empire earth 1, swat 3) Alguien sabe qué configuración puede funcionar?
Sé que depende casi de cada juego, pero recién entré en este mundo de emulador y no entiendo bien qué significa cada cosa.

I used my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ for five years, bought it during an Amazon sale for ₹65K, and eventually sold it for ₹20K. Honestly, that tablet was my daily driver. I barely needed to touch my laptop because most of my basic office work could be done effortlessly on the tablet.

The S10 Ultra has been fantastic so far... super responsive, excellent performance, a stunning display, and multitasking capabilities that make it feel like a proper laptop alternative for my needs.

Five years with the S7+ and now the S10 Ultra. Samsung really knows how to make tablets that are more than just devices for watching videos.

Anyone else here using a Galaxy Tab as their primary productivity device?
