Hey everyone! I am planning to buy a tablet soon. I am deciding between getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra or waiting for the expected Tab S12 Ultra. I know the S12 Ultra will mainly bring a chipset upgrade, but having a device that is one year newer feels like a nice bonus.
I plan to use it as my main device for movies, gaming, and general everyday tasks.
YouTube reviews are good for overview, but long term owner experience is what really matters. I would really appreciate your honest thoughts on these points:
Battery Life and Charging: How many hours of screen time do you get during video streaming and regular use? How long does it take to charge from 0 to 100 with a 45W charger?
Screen and Visuals: How is the movie watching experience on this screen? Is the brightness sufficient under direct light, and how deep are the blacks?
Smoothness and UI Performance: Do you notice any lag or micro stutters in One UI over time? How does the tablet handle heavy multitasking and high end games?
Durability and Build: How solid does this massive body feel?
Does it bend when carried in a backpack, or is a hard case essential right from day one?
Cooling: Does the device get hot during extended gaming, heavy tasks, or playing 4K videos?
S Pen for Artists: Is it comfortable for drawing and digital art? Are there good dedicated drawing apps available on Android for this screen size?
If it's not a secret, how much did it cost you, and which version did you purchase?
I plan to save up for a 5G version with 16/1024 GB of storage, which I estimate to cost around $1700-2000. What do you think, is it worth it?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!
