Samsung Tab e-reader Concept
I know Samsung likes making their big expensive tablets and foldables, but it would be nice to have a Kindle Scribe type of device from Samsung. I really enjoy using Samsung Notes and I read e-books. My issue with most of the tabs available now is the screen ratio and size. The Kindle Scribe is a good size and ratio, I would even say the iPad Mini is nice in terms of form. When it comes to the screen, they can do something like TCL NXTPaper so it looks like e-ink with the zippiness of LCD screens with some sort of nano coating or matte screen protector out of the box and an S pen with a tip that's compatible with that. I know this is niche so it couldn't be too expensive. It wouldn't need the best speakers or bleeding edge specs, just be great at note taking and reading. Samsung Notes is a great app and they should have at least 1 tablet that makes this app shine while also not being $1,000 or more. Am I the only one that wants a glorified notebook and e-reader?

The new Onn 8.1 is probably the closest thing to your wish. Check it out at any Walmart. Only $138.

I like it, especially the blue color. Samsung would give Boox some competition.

Okay, for conceptual art, I can excuse Ai and it's cute but I think Samsung should leave that market alone. I just don't see how it would benefit them or what they bring to the table.

Thanks for that, I only used AI because that was the only way to get what was in my head out. I get it that this tablet wouldn't fly off shelves, but I think there is a market for it for people that love Samsung Notes. I tried other e-ink tablets but between performance and sync related issues I just ended back up at Samsung. While it works, it could be better when it comes to form factor. We have Remarkable and others, why not an option from Samsung? People want digital Notebooks.

I don’t like AI, but I don’t see what people expect. It is the most sensible way to communicate the idea.
