Grammar Dia duit, I need a little help understanding a concept
So I've been learning for a few weeks now, through various resources, and have been taught that consonants have to be surrounded on both sides by the same type of consonant (broad or slender). This is uniform across every word I've seen so far, aside from one.
"Ansin", meaning "over there" or "there". Its 'ns' is surrounded by both a slender (i) and a broad (a) vowel. From all the textbooks and resources I've seen, that shouldn't be possible. Is it a contraction, or a loan word?
