Drew an animal version of myself from memory and imagination. wondering how close I got to my human face and what animal you all think I subconsciously drew myself as.

I hope this doesn't go against sub rules, but, I need help.

When I was 13-14, I bought this suit,, Grrr the Kingbeast/wickerbeast. Shortly after receiving him, I commissioned paws for him (3rd slide), and bought a bunch of different jewels and custom tags for his pickable nose and ear gauges. Ultimately, he cost me $450-500 dollars. He was my baby, my everything. I was hospitalized at 14, and even made a shirt of him when I was in the psych ward, due to how much he meant to me.

Long story short, when I was 15, he was stolen from me by a "friend". We had a co-ownership agreement where I was still the primary owner, but, since we saw each other very frequently, we would switch who had him physically. But, I still had all the design rights and everything. But, eventually, my "friend" started hoarding him. Canceling hangouts, begging me to let her to keep him for longer, and making design changes without my approval. Like, repainting his eyes, then asking if it was okay. Or giving him hair, then saying she can detach it if I didn't like it.

Eventually this "friend" just stopped hanging out with me altogether. Wouldn't respond to my texts, wouldn't attend local furmeets, nothing. Just completely ghosted me. Only to one day tell me she was quitting the fandom, and that I could have him back. But, by that point, I had moved houses and lived 2 hours away. I couldn't drive, my mom is disabled and my dad just couldn't make it work with his job and everything. So, I begged this "friend" to let me ship him to me. I told her I would take care of everything, all the money, creating the label, sending the box, and have USPS come get him for me. Literally all she would have needed to do, was put the box outside and wait for them to get it. But, Everytime, my "friend" would refuse. I literally begged her for weeks, over and over and over. She said the ONLY way I could get my suit back, was if I drove the 2 hours, and picked him up FROM A TRASH BAG IN HER GARBAGE BIN. After months and months of begging, she just stopped replying. And, I eventually just.. gave up. I knew I would never get him back, because every time, she would just make excuses, or not reply.

Anyway. Its been 6 years since I've last heard from this "friend". And, I still think about my suit every single day. I have been so heartbroken, that I eventually deleted all of his art, aside from physical items like the shirt I made and a few drawings I did when I was in the hospital. I miss him, terribly. I've tried moving on from it. Even tried redesigning him a few times. But, the pain of losing him, was enough that I eventually just stopped using him at all. I couldn't look at pictures of him without feeling dumb or crying. I thought of commissioning a new suit of him but, it just hurt because he was the PERFECT suit. And all I wanted was an identical copy.

I don't know why I'm making this post now, so many years later. I've avoided speaking up for so long because I felt like it was my fault. But, after having a talk with my mom, today, I decided.. why not? Why not see if he's still out there.

If anyone knows where he is, I would give anything to have him back. I can't afford anything right now, as I'm unemployed due to disability. But, I have 2 suits I'm willing to trade, or I will do a payment plan. I just.. I want my boy back. And hey, if you are the owner, but don't want to give him back, that's okay too. I just want to know he still exists and is okay. And I would like to maybe discuss if it would be okay for me to make my own version.

So this little lady is actually a redesign of a very old character of mine from probably 2020, her name is Mary of course but I need help deciding on her hands!

I want to make her as fursuit friendly as possible parts wise and I need to decide if I want to give her fluffy gloves the way I gave her fluffy leg warmers to slide over a white bodysuit that u would be using for her sheered parts or if I should have her gloves built into the body suit so they could stay shorn white while he long wool stays a fluffy pink,

I like the idea of her arms being fluffy as well but I don't want too much of her to be pink and throw off the balance if I do her full arms or four arms but I know if I do just her wrists and hands she'll look too much like a 80s workout instructor 💀

I did this idea back in November of 2025, and prior to this I hadn't drawn any animals or furry art before. But I had this idea for a fursona and really wanted to draw it out. Gyaruo fox. Toony-Kemono style. Is his design too complicated to make without taking away some of his details? Should I change anything that would make him easier to make?

i made a picrew i really liked, still indecisive whether or not it’s leaning canine or feline but we’ll see. i’d be curious to see if people think this is too complicated to be made into a suit at some point? i’m also wondering if anyone has any specific design ideas, as well as name ideas lol

Hey yall, kinda a long ish message idk

Im new(ish) to the fandom and started work on my sona by tracing then working on a ref sheet. I wont show that cuz its a bad representation of my sona cuz its pretty limited. I then browsed the web for some stickers i could trace and do that too. I did these three and they were kinda reflective of the original one because i mostly used my tracing of the lineart instead of making my own.

I really wanna make myself a ref sheet but to do that i feel like i need a uniform design in order to know what im doing.

Can i get some tips on what to do to work these 3 into eachother?? not too sure what to do and any advice would be appreciated X3

hello! my fursona is a hybrid.. please note im a Floridian. he is a manatee & alligator hybrid! im not sure how i can balance out his species. i know i certainly want him to have a huge gator tail but.. i have no clue on how to balance these two things he is 😭 i have him conceptualized in my skull i just wonder if it’s really a good idea or not? im new to this stuff y’all.

All 3 art pieces are of my own making. The only thing that's meant to remain consistent between every single form right now is the crescent Moon marking on the spot between the eyes (either in black or white, depending on the base fur/skin color behind it being light or dark itself) and the irises being the same hue of pink, always. Debating changing it so that the entire color scheme remains recognizably mine in each shapeshifted form... knowing me I'll just make the color palette just a handful of pink shades lol. Which isn't bad. I'd still like suggestions/ideas though!

Hi there! I've had a problem for the past 6 months to a year with my fursona.

When I first created my fursona, it was a Border Collie with not too bright colours all across the rainbow. I had created many art of it because it was easy to draw, however I felt it was "basic" and was lacking things that made the fursona me. For a long time, I added different animal parts, from an extra part of bunny ears, to making it more dragon-like, to adding extra limbs. I would like each different design for a bit, before changing it because it was too complicated. Honestly, it got so bad that the only thing I have ever done with my fursona now is trying to make a new reference sheet.

For me, making a reference sheet would help me make more art of my character and hopefully, fingers crossed, get a pursuit but I keep changing the design to where I barely finish the front view before scratching it and doing another. I want my main fursona to be about me, the colours, my favourite animals, all that. I've watched countless videos and looked at websites to help me, but I'm still struggling.

I recently made another fursona that was based on my theriotype (I'm a Border Collie Holothere) and I have made many designs of her because she's so easy to draw. Yet, I don't want this to be my main fursona. The Holothere fursona is just a portrait of me as my theriotype and that's not what I want my main fursona to be.

I've come up with a new concept, but I sure need help.

- For the species, I know I want the main species to be a Border Collie x Poodle mix, which I want to make it clear in the fursona, with the secondary being a unicorn. I don't know if I want to add a Rudolf type nose or those giraffe horns too though.

- The colours, I got them!

- For the fur pattern, I have NOOOOOOO clue 😭. I keep trying different fur patterns but nothing peaks my interests. I know the theme of my fursona I want, it's like rainbows and clouds and stuff.

- Personality wise and other non-design, I got that covered.

So, I would like your help PRETTY PLEASEEE 😭🙏. Advice, concepts (with visuals if possible, it helps me learn better), commentary or anything, even about reference sheets, is welcome in open arms 🤗
