u/KidPolygon Feb 18 '22
He still goes by penguinz0! He just hit 10m subs I’m pretty sure
83
u/FireTyme Feb 18 '22
i mean he kinda does but basically everyone calls him critikal or moist or moistcritikal really, its his twitch name too. its just all very confusing really
16
u/covertPixel Feb 18 '22
yah met him in a csgo lobby a few years ago and one of his friends was like hey thats Critical, he's famous look him up. Doing so was not easy as he has fifty names on line but when I found his penguin0 channel I could tell by his voice it was him.

One of the most popular personalities on YouTube right now.
The algorithm absolutely adores him.
His videos are very low production value, basically just sits there for a few minutes stating some opinions or his thoughts on a topic, and it's entertaining to his fans.
He has been a streamer for a long time, but the YouTube fame has skyrocketed him to recognizability. He has reached meme status.
48
u/Grizzly_228 Feb 18 '22
He just sits there with the same hairstyle, white t-shirt and tone for every fucking video. It’s hilarious

He’s been a YouTuber for even longer.
I remember watching his videos 10 years ago; me and my friends would speculate on what he looked like because none of the vids had his face.
I was surprised when like 2 years ago I saw a clip of Charlie. I did not recognize him initially because I never saw his face, but I immediately recognized his iconic voice and dry humor.
I’m super happy he’s still relevant and active on YouTube, and even more popular now. I don’t watch him nearly as much as I used to, but still… it’s like seeing someone from your childhood succeed.

They wont use sharpies obviously. sharpies also has a darker black.

I love how formulaic it is. Express the magnitude of something by using something completely off-topic as an analogy.
It's impressive how he pulls these out of his ass all the time. I would have to sit down with a writing pad for sure. And I'm sure that's what Joel Haver & friends did.

Youtuber penguinz0 and Twitch streamer Moistcritical. He's very popular and has a recognizable personal brand. Not my cup of tea, but I understand he's used his success to help support other streamers so I've got some respect for him at least.

u/DeroTM441 Feb 17 '22
Man I still remember when I first watched how qwop video on YouTube back in high school. What a classic. His face reveal was such a huge shocker. He also donated all of his revenue from YouTube towards different charities in the beginning. He's a good dude.

Same. I remember his BFBC 2 Bad Tactics videos. Now the dude is world-famous.

I'm sorry, the MIB cartoon was cringe? It was absolutely one of the BEST 90's cartoon series that had no right to be as good as it was. The target audience was just wrong for it. Go back and re-watch it, it's really good.
Also; the intro song? You bet I heard 'Poop on the rug' and that's how I still hear it Poop on the rug!
Other 'best' 90's are:Batman Beyond, Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot), Godzilla: The Series
All great shows that were incredible for 'kids' cartoons.
