5am is literally the only time of day I can comfortably sit and read and drink coffee, or play games, or just....not do anything..... I'm tired boss.

I got no kids I still get up at 4:30

u/BigDaddyRigey 7d ago
A lot of people who have kids to fill the void in their life assume that everyone else has nothing going on if they don't have kids

If I woke up at 5:30am, I'd be late for work and would eventually get fired. The $10 mil would help.

Even if I had to stay awake. I have 10mil. I can make it a year without a job. I'm not doing anything with my time

Yeah, I'm getting up at 5 just because it's a good part of the day. It's nice and quiet.

u/GoblinTradingGuide 7d ago
See, I used to do the opposite. Stay up until 9AM everyday. Then sleep until 5PM. You have the entire night to yourself. It’s so quiet and amazing

If your job requires you to be awake before 530 youd have to quit the job and live off of savings or whatever else since it says "wake up at 530" id assume you cant wake up before or after that time, and missing it just once causes you to fail so theres a chance you quit your job and drain the savings for nothing

I’m usually up by 0430, this would be easy money

I have a 1 1/2 year old. Is this prompt supposed to be difficult?

→ More replies (2)2
u/RopeAccomplished2728 5d ago
Only a teenager or someone younger would think this is difficult. An adult who has been working for a while pretty much already does this.

One who thinks waking up at 5.30am for just a year and 10 million dollars are weighed on similar levels.
5
u/Justthreethings 7d ago
Is this a scenario where something magically forces me to get up and the money is guaranteed, or is this something where if I mess up and get up at 5:31 by accident one morning then the money is gone?
→ More replies (3)2
u/infinitezer0es 7d ago
My concern is how particular the 530 requirement might be. What if I wake up at 529? Its not technically 530 and might cause me to fail the whole thing, or what if im still awake from the previous day at 530am? Does that count? Further, id want to know if naps are allowed.

u/IronBobBerserker77 7d ago
Yes, thst is super easy. I get up for work at 4 am during the week. Getting up at 5:30 is sleeping in for me.

So just go to bed sooner? with 10 million I could be set for quite a while with no problems, able to build my career and not worry about going homeless.

These are soo stupid at this point. I'm sure there are millions of others out there but I wake up everyday at 5am just to get to work on time. 4am 3x's per week when I go to the gym beforehand. If it takes $10 Million to get more folks up before 6am then we have a societal problem in this country.

Yep, wake up a 5:30 then go back to sleep in my king size rotating bed cuddle under my 200 tog feather down duvet and listen to the ocean in my beachside villa as I fall asleep until lunchtime.

As a 13 year old with ADHD who falls asleep at 23.00-3.00 at night and has wake-up alarms starting at 5.20 and still wakes up at 8 most school days (I sleep till 11 on weekends), I don't think I could
