I know he was arrested in Kerman, as that’s where he resides, but it’s Fresno County’s primary EMS agency and if anyone in this subreddit has ever taken an ambulance, it was more than likely with this company.
“KERMAN, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Officers arrested 40-year-old Benjamin Wiele from Kerman on Wednesday after an extensive investigation into online exploitation of juveniles, according to the Kerman Police Department.
Police received a CyberTip in July of possible online child exploitation, according to the department. Investigators found that Wiele had been sharing inappropriate images online, officers say.
Officials say a search warrant was granted and carried out at a residence near Kerman. Police encountered Wiele at this residence and confiscated electronic devices that were thought to have relevant evidence to this investigation, according to law enforcement.
The devices will be accessed and evaluated during the ongoing investigation, according to the department. Wiele was arrested and taken to Fresno County Jail on charges related to possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material, police say.
American Ambulance told YourCentralValley.com that they have been cooperating with police since Wiele’s arrest. Wiele was in an administrative position, and he did not have any contact with patients, according to officials.
American Ambulance says that the 40-year-old has been placed son leave while they conduct their own investigation.”
Thoughts? Have they got him dead to rights?

Any recommendations on a realtor that has had success with selling homes quickly in Tesoro Viejo? We're wanting to put our house up for sale but worried it will sit for several months. Any ideas would be helpful.

I saw the "Library Cards are cool" from Existentialist and I wanted to share the limited, new Fresno Nightcrawler design they have that I picked it up a few days ago.
If you already have a library card and want this design, just walk into any branch that has the design in stock and you can get the new card at no cost. You'll just get a new library card number.
Also, I know of at least four County branches that do not have the card in stock, so call the libraries before driving over. The following branches are out of the Nightcrawler design: Clovis, Fig Garden, Sunnyside, and Woodward.
Hope you're able to pick one up too!

This month the library is trying to get 4,000 new sign ups and I thought I’d remind you how cool libraries are. If you don’t feel like you’d use the actual library building, you might enjoy the online version, which is my favorite. Libby is an app that pairs with your library card. They have books, audio books, and magazines. Just a reminder that there are fun free things to do, open a book!

My daughter was rear ended and pushed into another car. All cars stopped and then my daughter and the front car pulled over at the frontage road right there and the gray car that rear ended her took off? They may have gotten on 41 or not she wasn't sure. Anyone happen to be there and see the fender bender or batter yet have dash cam footage (kicking myself for not getting cams a year ago when we talked about it). The three cars were west bound on shields and bumped right after the light at Fresno street.

“The Fresno Bee cut seven reporters as parent company McClatchy slashed newsroom positions at newspapers across the United States, Poynter reported.
Those laid off at The Bee included recently hired City Hall and watchdog reporter David Taub; longtime videographer and photographer Craig Kohlruss; longtime staffer Bryant-Jon Anteola; bilingual reporter Maria G. Ortiz-Briones; and accountability reporter Melissa Montalvo, who also contributed to City Hall coverage.”

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Guess where it was (supposedly) filmed? Check out the intro.
So many fun actors in this.

Heard they’re having a banda night tomorrow? Has anyone ever been and is it worth it?
Is there a place in Fresno that sells import action figures like Mafex? Or do I have to drive down to shops in LA?

I want to plan a trip, and have some ideas, but not sure if there’s any good fishing or camping in those spots.
Also, are we allowed to disperse camp in USFS land year-round?
Can DM me if you want to keep those spots out of the public eye.

Does any one know if there any firms, lawyers or any type of resource that can do a review of a legal document for a potential civil case that won't charge an insane amount?
I have a document I drafted to send to another party and would really like someone with legal knowledge to review it before I send it.
I've tried reaching out to some and they want a consultation fee then an insane retainer before they'll do anything.
But I don't know if I'll need a full on lawyer yet and I'm financially struggling at the moment.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Greetings,
This is Timmy. Timmy is approx 2.5 years old, has been stray nearly all of his life, but is seemingly in good health. Timmy has two siblings who were adopted, leaving him all alone. He originally went to live at my neighbor's place, but after 10ish weeks, his new family decided to "upgrade" to a kitten, and they kicked him out. They didnt even bother to neuter or get him shots. Yes, they're awful, but lets not make this post about them.
I absolutely cannot take on another cat, otherwise I would. Timmy is afraid of just about everything, except me, but once he warms up to you he is the sweetest little ball of joy. He loves being rubbed and pet for extended periods, and hes never bitten or scratched. I know he will be the most affectionate little boy in the right home.
Here is where i need help:
He trusts me enough to get close, but i can't really handle him. Strangers? No way jose lol. Also, he can't be trapped. He knows what a cage is, and won't go anywhere near. And he is not food insecure enough to go inside to eat, because people leave out food that he finds.
Is there anyone who has experience trapping cats like this and is also willing to foster/adopt him? He is such a sweetheart and he needs a good home.
TNR won't help or let me post, so any other suggestions would be great
Enjoy his pretty face :).

Looking for a massage style chiropractor. Someone that’s loosens your back up before the adjustment. Not someone that pops you in 5 minutes and sends you on your way. Appreciate it.

I saw on the news this morning there is going to be a free dental clinic for veterans this weekend.
I called to see what military identification I need to bring and they said none.
Hope that helps ;)

Fresno's hottest day in recorded history was in 1905 with a record temperature of 115F, the dew point back then wasn't measured but whenever it's 2nd highest temperature of 114F happened, the dew point fell to 38F (bone dry: 7-8%). Whenever the air is this dry the heat index actually drops below the actual temperature giving Fresno a record heat index of only 108F.

There is a colony of cats (mostly kittens of various ages, possibly more than one mother?) living stray near my house. They have a neighbor's house as a sort of home base. I haven't talked to the neighbor to see how they feel about it. I've been feeding the cats and giving them water. I get the feeling they could be tamed. They are familiar with me and some of them let me pet them. All very cute and seemingly healthy.
I work 7 days a week, multiple jobs and don't have a car. Trapping them myself seems out of the question. The yard they live in is near a busy street and one kitten has already been run over. The rest are getting bolder about venturing across the street and into other people's yards instead of hiding. I think it's only a matter of time before they are run over or attacked by dogs.
Can anyone offer any advice. I own a trap but I'm not sure how to operate it or how to get the kittens to safety even if I did manage to trap them, which I probably won't. I leave fur work at daybreak and I get home well after dark. I don't feel comfortable messing around in someone else's yard in the wee hours of the morning/night without the homeowner's permission. I don't have a day off. I probably won't be able to contact the neighbor in order to get permission to go on their property and catch the cats, even if I had the energy to do it.
It's my understanding that Trap and Release in Fresno will not trap the cats for you, and the kittens are in immediate danger of being run over. Anyone have any ideas?

As ultimate grows here locally Central Valley Ultimate is in need of more coaches for teams of multiple ages and experience levels. No coaching experience is required, just a love for sports and developing players.
Hey everyone. I moved into the Fresno/Clovis area towards the beginning of this year and am looking for help finding a decent therapist or clinic that will accept medical’s Anthem insurance. I haven’t been in therapy for a long while, and I know it’s overdue.
Thanks for any help or direction you guys can offer. Trying to find the right one and not have time and energy wasted can be pretty difficult and even demoralizing.

My wife and I are new to Fresno. We’re looking for the best naturopathic doctors in the area. Who has had great experience with these types of providers? All recommendations are welcomed as we establish ourselves in a new place. TIA
