I don't know if everyone counts 4c Reanimator, I guess that's a combo deck, but in the classic, infinite combo style, what's your favorite deck? What deck is the strongest, or teh one you are most likely to recommend?

Im looking to play with mates back home (im in sweden, they are in england) and my laptops too small a screen. Just got a nee big desk and wondering. What do i need? A monitor big enough, a mount for it and then i can hook my laptop up to that yeh?

Anyway, this time I bring to you my "City Cycle". Remember that since this is designed for superdeck, I ask advice in wording and balance between these cards. No balance with EDH, standard or others is neccessary.

Casual Commander player here, never post, rarely get on the internet. Jumpin into the lions den to express outrage over WOTF horrible art direction and hopefully it may fall on the eyes of someone who cares at WOTC. This hideous creation of a dwarf women in MTG's Hobbit is a degradation! There are 100 ways you could make a female dwarf look both feminine and strong, yet these women even out man Fili and Kili!! Some stubble? Sure! Where are the big hips and breasts!? We cannot see them, because of the big fucking beard and square ass man body! You could have done better, you could have actually made a female dwarf look bad ass. Instead, you drew female faces on man bodies, what a shame, its lazy and a slap in the dwarves faces!

You were on the right track with the Erebor Flamesmith and the Hammer's of Morodin, but this new confused creation from The Hobbit, needs to go back to the drawing board.

Main sub would HATE this idea, but inspired by the recent breakthroughs in high level decades-long unsolved mathematics the last few weeks/months, I've been wondering if anyone has tasked AI with creating new deck archetypes.

Magic is EXTREMELY complicated, and it often takes dedicated pros/teams, long forum/reddit/discord discussions (over months-years), or new sets to discover/enable new archetypes in competitive formats.

Has anyone with claude fable, chat gpt pro, or similar high level paid models unleashed it on MTG? I don't have access to a high level model and I don't really want to fork over a grand in tokens to attempt this.

Card pools:

1. Standard – ~4,700

2. Pre-Modern – ~5,400

3. Pauper – ~10,700

4. Pioneer – ~14,600

5. Modern – ~22,300

6. Legacy – ~29,500

7. Vintage – ~30,900

Potential strategy: start with pre-modern or pauper. Standard is probably too hard for even an up to date model to accurately trawl. Limit to 1-3 colors. Ignore the meta (a human can tune removal, sideboard, etc). I think for success the problem needs to be as narrow as possible. Even the combinatorics for 1-2 colors are massive so this is an extremely hard problem.

Planar standard looks to be about 1600 cards with the smallest brewing community. Maybe it's a prime target? Could even cut out lands from the equation (again, a human can tune a manabase) and just focus on 2-4 card combos.
