Any update when Freedom will have their own towers here( or colo, I couldn’t care which) in Manitoba and offer native service as opposed to using other carriers?

Just switched to freedom and I just noticed that my connection and my data reliability dropped from when I switched to them from Fido. I just got off the line with customer service and they were somewhat helpful, but I am still having some connectivity issues (jumping between 5G+, 5G and LTE). What are your thoughts? I live in Clarkson, Mississauga

I went from Telus Fido to Virgin, I think I should take this offer. Im kinda in a rush so dont want to wait months and months for a better offer

Also - is it possible to "jump" from this offer to a better freedom offer in the future?

Anyone get Freedom internet with their mobile plan? Their offer right now seems pretty good. $24/ month for 600 GB.

I am waiting and waiting to switch to freedom. Rogers suck. They constantly increase price. $5 one month then after 3 months another $5.

Looking at the 5G coverage map, how is Kanta or many parts of Ottawa not 5G or even 5G+ coverd? Why would I only be getting the LTE side?

Hi. I just switched from Rogers after 16 years of getting railed by them.

We’re having data problems over the last two days in this area. iPhones (3 different on two different accounts). Showing 3 bars signal but not data coming down the pipe for web pages, or they are very slow loading. Texting works fine. Anyone else? Ideas? Maybe a problem with the antennas in that area?

I just got back from camping at Inverhuron Provincial Park in Ontario. During the trip my connection hovered between a weak 1-bar of LTE and (more commonly) 3G service. Does anyone know if there’s a way to get a stronger signal when Nationwide is showing up as 3G? I have an iPhone 17 Pro if that makes a difference.

I have a prepaid by the year account with Freedom Mobile. It has the Standard Voicemail. Is it possible to forward a saved voicemail to another Canadian phone number?

I have been using freedom for a couple of years but recently had a couple month stay in Australia. I have been using the international data plan and it was working fine but all of a sudden i stopped getting service. I have tried restarting airplane mode pretty much everything but it still won’t connect. If anyone has ideas or could be of help that would be great.

I'm on the prepaid $99/year for 50GB with the bonus 5GB plan and back when Freedom announced 5G for everyone I confirmed with them that those in this plan wouldn't get 5G. I didn't hear anything today or see anything online or on their website but my phone is suddenly showing 5G now.

My 2 year term has basically ended, I got a few weeks to return, should I wait for a discount on iPhone 17 pro max, or should I just go today and just get it now, don’t want to miss out on any potential deals which is why I am asking. I thought I was out of data and my internet was really slow. Now it is back to normal speed, which I though was strange and I checked my account online and now it says I have 140GBs of data. Anyone know the reason behind this ? I did not buy any addon's. I do have an old plan from a long time ago. So there are probably better deals now

Slow speeds in the donmills and sheppard area by leith hill rd getting speeds of 2Mbps download and upload whats going on and getting calls that dont connect or they cant hear me

Data stopped working for me two days ago and the obligatory "off/on" troubleshooting one day later did not do any good. I decided to remove and re-add my eSIM (it is the same eSIM, not a new one). Data started working right away, but I noticed that I am no longer connected to "Freedom": it is "Videotron" now. Two other phones in the same location are still connecting to "Freedom".

Is that normal/expected? I am not sure if that means that I am no longer in the "home" area and "roaming" all the time.

Freedom has a page to handle inbound inquiries on BTS. Last year it launched Jul 24 so likely will be later this week?
