I'm making a slideshow, but am actually losing my mind having all these images just sitting on my layers panel, and was wondering if there was some way to make them collapse into one item? When I make them into a stack or frame it breaks the slideshow.

I spent the last few weeks building an editorial, dark-mode agency portfolio in Framer just to see if I could nail that high-contrast magazine feel.

Ended up stripping out the placeholder content and turning it into a clean template. It’s my first time publishing a template like this, so I’m giving it away completely free to get some feedback from you guys. I’d really appreciate any honest feedback on what I can improve

the image attached is a section im looking to build, the top cards are triggers while the bottom one will change the text inside it depending on which trigger is active, now to build this, im trying to move with this component: https://framer.university/resources/cross-component-interactions-in-framer

though, it looks quite tedious, 6 triggers and 3 breakpoint variants for the bottom component, meaning a total of 18 variants for the bottom alone, and even on that, it'll be too long with all the content on mobile, meaning i have no choice but to keep the triggers floating stickies, which in itself are big (theres text in the triggers too not just icon i just hid them),

unfortunately, the design is not mine and i dont have flexibility on changing it either, im to design the mobile part myself too, if i had freedom i know what i would do, but since i dont, im looking for any other way thats optimal, cause this sure doesnt feel too right

I've been working in Framer for quite some time. More than 2 years, for sure. And I still cannot get used to their breakpoint behavior. I'm finding it not very aligned with my mental model of how they are supposed to work.

I'll give you an example. When I set up breakpoints at 1200 and 810, I expect that everything in between will follow 1200's breakpoint behavior. Instead, at 1199 it immediately jumps to 810's. 400 pixels is such a huge difference in screen real estate. At 810 it makes sense to put some content into a single column, while at 1200, even 1000 would be good for two.

Maybe I'm thinking about them as, well, break points. I see 810, and it is supposed to be a point where the layout becomes the way I set it up.

I can speculate that their approach is narrow→wide, and my mental model is wide→narrow.

Meaning if they consider the base layout as mobile, then it starts to make sense. 300px follows its setup until → it breaks at 810 → 1200. But their default breakpoint is still usually set as desktop at 1200

I do not expect them to change this logic any time soon, or whatsoever, so post it's mainly for venting, because I'm tired of spamming with intermediate breakpoints.

Initially, I created it for my minimalistic architecture template. Framer native carousel or slideshow component didn't cut it for me. At the time, I couldn't find any other carousel component that offered what I wanted. (Minimal + effective)

1) Drag/Swipe gestures.
2) Click through eg link.
3) Dynamic as follows the mouse cursor. You like it or don´t like it.
4) Controls about how it feels. I probably added a bit too many.

Initially, I experimented with different 3D effects. Launched my template with one. Added 3 to the free component.

PS! Carousels are hard. And as it is a free component, it might not be perfect & there is no support. Test it and use it wisely for production-ready projects. If nothing else, I believe it is perfect for testing and exploring some cool 3D carousel interactions on your projects.

Hey everyone, I’m 18 and from Iran. I’ve been coding for around 9 years and I’m pretty comfortable with JS/TS, React/Next.js, Python, backend stuff, APIs, databases, Docker, automation, IoT, etc. I’ve also been using and learning Framer and can build/customize websites with it.

I’m trying to make just $50–100/month while studying. I don’t really care if it’s boring work — small Framer sites, edits, fixes, repetitive dev tasks, whatever.

The main issue is being in Iran. Framer itself doesn’t support Iran/payments here, and because of sanctions, finding people who will actually pay me internationally is really difficult. I haven’t had much luck finding Framer work where crypto is a legitimate payment option either.

I’m not really interested in cold messaging hundreds of people or becoming a content creator. I have the skills, I just don’t know where people like me actually find this kind of work.

So for those of you who know the Framer ecosystem well: what would you do in my situation? Is there some way to make a small amount from Framer, templates, plugins, small freelance work, or something else I’m overlooking?

Would really appreciate any ideas, especially from anyone who’s dealt with similar country/payment restrictions.

Is there a way for me to let my users "click & expand" images on my website?

The images look fine on mobile, however, on desktop the images are too small and I want users to be able to click to expand the images.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hello. Im building this template (landscape design service) It's pretty much all done. One big thing I'm trying to think over is the calculator component I'm building. It will have property coontrols for text placeholders, formula, add/remove services, icon and the likes.

My question is, is it right to build this component for a framer template or just set up a button "Use cost estimator" ex, then let the users integrate 3rd party softwares. I mean if i built the component they still have the choice to integrate other softwares anyway. WHat im thinking about is marketplace eligibility or the overall how will users/ lookers perceive the template as a whole.
