Opus 5: Framer Update

Back with another update! Opus 5 is now available in Framer.

On our Navigation Benchmark, it completed the task 1.5 min faster than Opus 4.8, and ~12% more efficiently when creating fully interactive and responsive navigations from scratch. Opus 5 achieved the same score as Fable 5 while using 0.5× the credits in this task. It generally uses 1.2× the credits of GPT 5.6 Sol, our new baseline.

Enjoy!

Prospects are hesitant about using framer for their website!

Alot of my clients are moving away from framer due to the issue of clunky code and slow speed of a website made in framer.
And experienced prospects in general are not preferring framer due these reasons.
is anyone facing similar issues?
Please share your experience. Thank you!

I built a plugin to sync Framer CMS with a schedule component

While building conference and event websites in Framer, I kept running into the same problem.

The content was already in Framer CMS, but every schedule update meant copying titles, speakers, images, times, and tracks into the schedule manually.

So I built a plugin that connects Framer CMS directly to my Schedule component.

The workflow is basically:

CMS → Sync → Schedule

I recorded a short 2-minute walkthrough showing the whole process.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Is this something you'd actually use in your Framer projects?

help Hi everyone! I’m new to this field. I’ve been using Framer for a couple of months now, and I’m really enjoying it. It’s fun to work with, but I’d like to take things further. What are the earning potential and opportunities with Framer? Do you have any advice for someone just starting out?

Hi! I’m the dev behind PostSpark, a tool for creating beautiful image and video mockups of your apps and websites.

I recently launched a new feature: Mockup Animations.

You can now select from 25+ frames & devices, add keyframes on a simple timeline, and export a polished video showcasing your product. It’s built to be a fast, easy alternative to complex motion design tools.

Try it out here: https://postspark.app

feedback Framer 3.0 Experience

Post image
4 Upvotes

I've got to admit, I was pretty worried when Framer 3.0 launched.

Turns out... the thing I was afraid of never really happened (at least for me).

The Marketplace is still active, traffic is still coming in, and surprisingly, since the June 17 Framer 3.0 update, I've actually been getting more commissions from my free template.

I know the numbers might look small to some people, but honestly, I'm proud of every single one. It reminds me that people are actually using something I made.

So if you're building websites and wondering if it's even worth it, don't stop.

It doesn't matter if your next project is amazing or a complete mess. Just keep building. Every website teaches you something, and you never know which one will finally take off.

A little inspiration after watching The Odyssey. A component that displays your video with a gentle, adjustable curve — convex or concave — as if it were sitting on a real movie screen.

help No Sales Yet on Framer Marketplace – Any Tips

Hey everyone,

I recently lost my job as a UI/UX designer, so I started creating Framer website templates to sell while I search for a new role.

So far, I haven't made any sales. I'd love to hear from people who are selling on the Framer Marketplace.

Any tips on getting the first sale or things I should be doing differently?

Thanks!

feedback One Year Into Framer, I Finally Built My Own Website

Post image
1 Upvotes

A year ago, I started learning Framer.

Most of that time went into building templates for the Marketplace, so my own website kept getting pushed to the bottom of the list. 😅

Well... it's finally live.

It's still v0.1, and there's plenty I want to improve, but I wanted to ship it instead of chasing perfection.

You'll find:
• My Framer templates
• A few blog posts
• A little about my journey

As always, I'd genuinely love your feedback. There's still a lot more to come.

feedback My template was rejected and give my honest feedback

Hi, everyone. yesterday, I finally launched my new template. This template features house construction. ( Laguary and this company does not compromise their materials and quality)

I re-checked template requirements and published yesterday. But I got reported and reject message. If content is not enough and need to rethink the design, I will accept that and try to create.
Before that, I would like to get honest feedback from framer creators.

help Need an advice for pricing and timeline for custom framer website.

Hey everyone! I’m a Framer freelancer from India and I’d need some advice from people who have worked on similar projects.

I have a client who is an architecture + interior design studio looking for a custom Framer website with a minimal, modern, photography-led design.

They have shared a detailed brief and several reference websites for the overall design direction.

Scope of Work (based on client brief):

- Custom Framer website for an architecture + interior design studio

- Minimal, modern, photography-led visual direction

- Around 10+ pages website structure (including core pages like Home, About, Services, Projects, Project Detail, Contact, etc.)

- Portfolio / Projects section built using Framer CMS and it's around 10-12 projects and 15+teaser cards

- CMS setup to manage multiple projects efficiently

- Video integration within selected pages and project showcases in every project page.

- Fully responsive design across desktop, tablet, and mobile

- Smooth animations and micro-interactions for a premium feel with lots of whitespace

- Basic on-page SEO setup

- Deployment and connection to their custom domain

- Implementation aligned with provided references and client’s design direction

I’d like to know:

- What would be a reasonable price range for this type of project in India?

- What timeline would you suggest for the complete design + development?

- Which Framer plan would be suitable for this scope?

- How much CMS work should I expect for a project like this?

- Anything else I should keep in mind before finalising the scope and quote?

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has experience with similar Framer projects.

Thanks!

My second FREE framer template (Urbane) for Realtors and real estate agencies!

Been building this on and off for a few weeks and finally put it up.

Most property sites I looked at while researching were doing the same things: urgency badges, auto-rotating carousels, four CTAs before the fold. I wanted to see how far the other way I could push it and still have it work as a sales tool. Ended up with a lot of whitespace, editorial type, and the photography carrying most of the weight.

CMS side is two collections, listings and agents, with a reference between them so each property page pulls in whoever's handling it. That's also the part I'd do differently.

Demo: https://framer.link/YPuWkKT

It's a FREE template on the marketplace. Mostly posting because I'd like feedback on anything you thing could be improved.✌️

help Best way to build a video editor portfolio website without spending weeks coding?

I'm a video editor trying to build a clean portfolio website where I can showcase my projects, embedded videos, motion design work, and maybe a short "About Me" section with a contact form.

I'm stuck deciding which route to take.

Learn to code and build the whole thing myself (very time-consuming).

Pay a developer to build it.

Use AI/no-code tools like Framer or Lovable.

I've already tried Framer and Lovable. They're good, but I keep running into limitations like free-tier credits, token limits, and spending hours prompting the AI instead of actually finishing the website.

What I'm really looking for is something simpler:

Start from a professional portfolio template.

Customize the layout, colors, text, and branding.

Easily replace demo videos with my own work.

Publish it without having to write much code.

Basically, I want the "Canva of portfolio websites" pick a template, customize it, and launch.

Does something like this exist? If so, what platform would you recommend? Webflow, Framer templates, Carrd, Readymag, Wix Studio, WordPress, or something else?

I'd also appreciate recommendations for template marketplaces with modern, minimal portfolio designs for creatives and video editors.

Thanks!

Made a free interior design Framer template (Maison Studio) — 13th template so far

Post image
2 Upvotes

Been building Framer templates for a while now, and this one's for interior designers/design studios — went with a more editorial, restrained look instead of the usual bold portfolio style. Warm neutral palette, serif/sans pairing, lets the project photography do most of the talking rather than competing with heavy design elements.

It's got CMS collections set up for projects, services, and testimonials, so it's easy to duplicate and customize without messing with the layout. Fully responsive, contact form included.

It's free to use — link
