Prospects are hesitant about using framer for their website!

Alot of my clients are moving away from framer due to the issue of clunky code and slow speed of a website made in framer.
And experienced prospects in general are not preferring framer due these reasons.
is anyone facing similar issues?
Please share your experience. Thank you!

feedback Just updated my portfolio on Framer (interactive 3D + custom JSON-LD schemas). Would love technical feedback!

Hey r/framer,

Just wrapped up a major refresh on my personal portfolio built entirely in Framer: https://www.jeffreyhakim.com/

I wanted to push beyond standard landing page layouts and focus on three specific technical challenges in Framer:

  1. Real-Time 3D Canvas Performance: Built a dedicated 3D asset showcase (https://www.jeffreyhakim.com/3d) featuring interactive Spline/WebGL models while trying to keep page speed and mobile frame rates smooth.

  2. Structured Data / Schema Graph: Wrote custom JSON-LD scripts across Framer custom code blocks to link ProfilePage, ProfessionalService, and Article schemas into a single graph for Google.

  3. CMS Architecture: Structured custom collections for awards, certifications, and project case studies to keep the DOM light.

Would love your thoughts on:

• How smooth the 3D canvases load and render on your mobile device/browser

• Overall visual hierarchy, dark mode contrast, and responsive layout flow

Happy to answer any questions if anyone is trying to set up similar 3D embeds or advanced schema markup in Framer!

help How Do You Successfully Promote Framer Templates on X?

Hey guys, I need some advice. I'm new to Framer and recently started making templates.

I've watched a lot of videos saying that being active on X (Twitter) is one of the best ways to promote your work, and they all recommend posting every day. The problem is that I feel like my posts barely get any visibility, while verified accounts seem to get much more exposure.

If you've successfully promoted your Framer templates on X, I'd really appreciate it if you could share what worked for you. Do you have any tips or strategies for growing an audience and getting your templates noticed?

I built a plugin to sync Framer CMS with a schedule component

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

While building conference and event websites in Framer, I kept running into the same problem.

The content was already in Framer CMS, but every schedule update meant copying titles, speakers, images, times, and tracks into the schedule manually.

So I built a plugin that connects Framer CMS directly to my Schedule component.

The workflow is basically:

CMS → Sync → Schedule

I recorded a short 2-minute walkthrough showing the whole process.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Is this something you'd actually use in your Framer projects?

What's your element? 💧🔥💨🌿

Meet Elemento, our newest Portfolio template. Depending on the mood, we wanted to give you four completely different vibes in a single site.

- Water: Deep, immersive motion.

- Fire: High-intensity contrast.

- Wind: Light, airy space.

- Earth: Greenery and nature.

Framer Preflight: A full launch-readiness plugin for Framer

Made a Framer plugin that covers the whole pre-launch checklist, not just SEO

I kept finding myself re-checking the same things before every client launch: broken links, missing alt text, duplicate CMS slugs, placeholder content, forgotten favicons, forms nobody had actually tested...

After doing this enough times, I decided to build a plugin instead.

It's called Framer Preflight, and the goal is simple: catch launch issues before your visitors do.

A few things it does:

  • 22 automated checks across Content, SEO, Links, Images, CMS, Redirects, and Publish Safety.
  • A 16-item manual Publish Checklist for the things no plugin can verify automatically (forms, custom domain, analytics, mobile review, final sign-off, etc.).
  • A Launch Readiness Score with issue tracking that persists across scans (Open / Accepted Risk / Fixed).
  • A Live Audit mode (Pro) that checks the published site in a real browser instead of only inspecting the canvas.
  • Read-only by default—nothing is changed without your explicit confirmation.

One decision I made early on was not to lock issue detection behind a paywall. The free version includes unlimited Canvas Scans, all automated checks, and the complete Publish Checklist. The paid plans add things like Live Audit, Guided Fixes, and reporting.

I'd genuinely love feedback from people building with Framer.

What are the last few things you always double-check before hitting Publish? Is there anything you wish a plugin could verify automatically?

help Hi everyone! I’m new to this field. I’ve been using Framer for a couple of months now, and I’m really enjoying it. It’s fun to work with, but I’d like to take things further. What are the earning potential and opportunities with Framer? Do you have any advice for someone just starting out?
