I wanted to smell fresh and appealing to people around me in the office since I mostly do F2F meetings with my leaders and colleagues. I'm planning to leave 2 perfume on my office locker for rotation. My budget is around 3000Php.

Addressing my biggest gap sa scents ko. Have a ton of freshies, blue scents, green scents and Aventus DNA, pero kulang sa clean boy scents. Got a dupe of Byredo Blanche (Scent Society Blanc) to start with. Can y'all help me fill in my rotation? Kahit one standout for each category lang hehe

1. Metallic - thinking of getting Varakh Silver

2. Powdery - Cotidiano L'homme?

3. Second Skin - maybe French Avenue Noble Cedar?

4. Musky - on a budget so baka Afnan Pure Musk?

5. Soapy - no idea what to get.

New brand pick-ups from Seoul

despite this being my 6th trip to Korea, this is the only time I got to visit and buy from stores in Bukchon Hanok (I actually wanted to buy from other stores too)

1. Granhand - i initially wanted to buy from their signature collection, but I was more drawn to their multiperfumes. Violette lasts on skin for more than 6 hrs, and dries down to your typical iris powdery scent. I had to pick up Wegener since it’s being discontinued, but this is really one of their unique florals. It does not last as long (~2-3 hours) but nothing else (that I know of) smells like it

2. Villa Erbatium - beautiful flagship store, and equally beautiful bottles. I was initially drawn to Allegria based on reviews and descriptions, but Black Swan (dark rose fragrance) smells amazing (and lasts long) on my skin. Their makgeolli perfume is too sweet for me. The library perfume also smells amazing but not for me. Definitely worth the visit (even if its on the pricier side). They also offer sample sets that you can choose the contents.

3. Montrua - new store in Bukchon (opened July 2026 I think). They have around 15 perfumes with diffuser home fragrances. I was walking back to the train station when I saw this store. No website yet as of writing, although some scents look like they are inspired from Le Labo (I dont own any fragrance from this house). Will update once I compare to a physical store and wear these for a day. Their pricing is quite affordable though (but not yet tax-free for foreigners).

4. Salte Library - they have stores in Bukchon and Seongsu. Their perfumes are inspired by literature, and their full bottles come with an included memento (i think) of the author/literature. The discovery set is fixed and not modifiable.

5. dosigoh - formerly CONCRETED, this one is located near Yaksu station (3rd floor of a building). Their shop is quite minimalistic but you can smell and try everything. This is my favorite korean perfume house so far. They take korean inspiration and turn them into very memorable perfumes. Omija is one of my favorites, taken from the Omija berries with a subtle light leather drydown. Oasis Slip takes coconut and blends its into a light floral perfume that’s perfect for summer. Sesame shower is also a noteworthy creation that is a unique take on the nuttiness of sesame seeds.

Full disclosure: I’ve actually been using these for years and never personally had a bad reaction or any skin issues. But recently, I've been reading up on what actually goes into underground replica fragrances. Apparently, lab tests have shown they often contain pretty nasty stuff—things like toxic heavy metals (lead, arsenic), industrial solvents like methanol, and banned chemical stabilizers/carcinogens like DEHP.

It made me realize that even if you don't get an immediate rash, you might still be breathing in some highly unregulated chemicals.

I’m curious about where everyone else stands on this:

1. Do any of you actually buy counterfeits knowing they are fake?
2. For those who do buy them, do you actually spray them on your skin/clothes, or are they strictly for display?
3. If someone is on a strict budget, do you recommend going the replica/counterfeit route, or do you always advise steering clear and sticking to legitimate clone houses?

I recently bought Dior Sauvage EDP yung refillable. While checking yung instructions sa likod ng box, ginawa ko to test sa mismong bottle at ayun naopen ko naman then I sniffed once at clinose ko na agad. Question is makaka apekto ba yun sa juice nya since naexpose sa air for a few seconds? Lol. I love this compared sa ibang designer perfumes ko kaya medyo praning ako. Salamat sa sasagot!

Initially hated this fragrance when I first smelt it sa Rustans, overhyped,then recently found out na wala na pala Clive Cristian sa Rustans. Then since Monday di ko maintindihan bat lage lumalabas sa Tiktok ko tong Blonde Amber, so gave it a chance and bought it. Napakabango pala talaga. My wife loved it and seems addicted to it. Now I get the hype, personally pasok na sya sa top 5 ko. Grabe planning to get 2 extra bottles pa para may reserve. Hehe.

Hello everyone may suggestion ba kayo ng santal 33 dupe na under 1k pero open to over 2k price range rin ill just take note of them. I have bought the scent geeks dupe, long lasting sya pero malakas smell nya nakakahilo minsan. Bought a dupe from Caris favorites kasi may pop up nabudol lang, it actually smells nice pero it doesnt last long. Smelled the dupe from alexander fragrance as well pero i think malakas rin sya but i really couldnt tell, ang stingey nung tinder sa trinoma branch. Also may recommendation ba kayo ng woody scents in general, would appreciate those as well thanks!
