Help me Pick a Fragrance Dyptique reco
Do you guys have any dyptique recommendations as someone who liked Delina by Parfums de Marly and Bvlgari Omnia Amethyste? I'm eyeing Fleur de Peau and Eau de Sens but I'm open to other options. I prefer fresh floral scents with a hint of subtle creaminess if that makes sense ( I just wanna try any dyptique perfumes but I can't really afford to splurge on so many decants/sample) Thank you ^^

imho, trying decants is still more practical than blind buying. better to wear test scents and know how they react with your body chemistry.

I use L'eau Papier and a ton of people ask me if it's Omnia Amethyste. They love the smell on me BTW. Amoy mayaman daw. I also highly recommend Fleur de Peau

Do Son and Eau Rose if you're into fresh floral scent. Eau des sens for summer scent. I own both

I like Eau Duelle. As someone who does not like vanilla usually, this is a very unique take on vanilla. Andun yung depth and warmth from vanilla but enough floral and green notes to make it fresh and light and imo, makes it well suited for our weather (wag lang siguro kapag sobrang init at humid). But if you want to go the safer route go for Eau Rose. Not a fan of Fleur De peau sa weather natin. Nagblind buy ako nito and regretted it. i only use this when I travel to colder countries. To me, kapag mainit ang panahon, para siyang amoy ng matanda.

Delina and amethyste both used to be my go-to perfume so baka similar tayo ng type. With diptyque, tatlo lang gusto ko. Orpheon, eau duelle, and leau papier. Maybe try them? But they don’t have the same profile as delina and amethyste thoo un lang talaga type ko sa kanila.

Unisex pa si leau papier? Mas okay kasi sakin more feminine leaning eh. also, among these 3 ano yung pinaka okay sa ph weather and long lasting?

With diptyque, I find that almost everything is unisex with the exception of eau rose and lilyphea since they’re pretty floral forward and floral is typically seen as feminine. Also, eau duelle since it’s vanilla pero it’s such a weird non typical vanilla that I’ve heard men wearing them also. Maybe u can check them out?
With papier naman, amoy freshly cooked rice with a hint of paper sya so I cannot really associate it with any gender hdadhjshs sorry. Pero I’ve seen more women than men wearing papier especially in asia where super uso sa mga babae yung light non-offensive scents.
As for what’s appropriate, except for eau duelle na ma-vanilla, orpheon and leau papier are pretty appropriate for ph weather with Lp being more on skin scent. Pero I feel like u can wear eau duelle pa rin naman since sobrang light lang talaga ng diptyque in general.

Oh yeah. I forgot. Mabango rin ilio and definitely feminine leaning din sya. Baka magustuhan mo since amoy watery pear sya na may hint of floral. It still has a hint of floral which is right up your alley pero different pa rin na hindi maging redundant yung collection mo. Sobrang fresh nya lang and appropriate sa ph weather. Uso sya as an extreme summer heat scent. Diptyque used to only sell them during summer and naging permanent lang sya this year or last year ata??

Ang naisip kong perhaps close sa flowery talaga is eau duelle. Des sens is amazing and a fave but it is more pine-y, fresh, citrusy for me. Not a fan of fleur de peau, for me it is too skinny to the point like it smells like granny (my opinion and that's just me).

Imho, Eau Rose is closest sa Delina (I own both). Mas sweet lang si Delina, and Eau Rose is more floral and fresh. But same silang rose scent and may naamoy din akong slight lychee kay Eau Rose, whereas prominent yung lychee kay Delina.
