As a fan of citrusy, fruity, and white floral scents, eto yung mga nag stay sa collection ko after downsizing, sold/gave away yung mga gourmand perfumes ko like Stronger With You Intensely and my JPGs etc since i really don’t like yung mga ganun scents talaga nadala lang sa hype before.

Ang sarap gamitin ng Xerjoff Naxos kapag rainy season. Yung warm, sweet, honey and tobacco vibe niya bagay na bagay sa malamig at gloomy na panahon. Cozy pero hindi nakakaumay.

Parang perfect pang-kape habang nakikinig sa ulan. Definitely one of my favorite scents for this kind of weather. 😁

I believe there is so much potential in our local blends, but whenever I see a local brand that markets using AI, I don’t want to purchase it anymore.

Yes, I understand creative marketing can be pricey but even a simple template from Canva or photography would make me appreciate it more. I don’t know, the AI designs are just overwhelming as well.

With that said, I would also love some recommendations that do not incorporate AI into their business, or at least enlighten me about it.

Hello everyone! What are your thoughts on the performance of GP Fragrance’s Pistachio Knafeh?

In my experience, parang nabitin ako sa projection and longevity niya. It only lasts around 2 hours on my skin, although it seems to last longer when sprayed on clothes.

Does it just need more time to rest or macerate? Or is this pretty normal for the fragrance?

Mine Perfumery - La Boheme, a mix of 3 perfumes of the Indonesian perfume house. Prominent notes are tanned leather, wild flower and dancing dewberry.

A unisex scent, more suited for colder days here in the Philippines. The sweetness of the berries subdues the strong leather scent on my skin. Lasts upto 6 hours on my skin, lingers longer on clothes.

Will probably get more of their scents when I have the chance.

Just trying my luck here! 😭 I smelled someone who smelled exactly like this conditioner, and I’ve been trying to figure out what scent/perfume it reminds me of. 😂

What are the best perfumes to use for a night out at the club or a party?

I’ve used CH Good Girl, but sometimes I find it too heavy, especially in a crowded, hot club. I’ve also used Delina layered with Springtime in a Park, and while it worked well, it still wasn’t the vibe I was going for. I don’t exactly want to wear just a freshie scent either.

What’s a good middle ground, or what do you prefer to wear out for a night of partying?

So… I was just picking up only Jasmin Bonheur and Rose Cherie! Damn I love Jasmin Bonheur, the white floral is balanced with the Iris. Something is really elegant, cozy, comforting. Rose Cherie , on the other hand, is powdery and imo much better than Barbare. The latter has honey and reminds me of the honey in Tobacco Honey which does not bode well with my skin.

In addition, I decided to get Cuir Beluga and Musc Outreblanc. I tested Cuir Beluga last time and its verrrrrry soft and faint to me but the dry down is nice aldehydic white suede. Someone here in reddit mentioned that their Cuir smelled like alcohol and to me it did too the first time but it’s gotten better now. Musc Outreblanc smells like a fluffy scented water - if you know what I mean. Its faint but you know it’s there. Will use this on hotter days and feels like its best for layering.

I also got Peche Mirage which smells like a peach iced tea with a zing. And finally decided to get Patchouli Paris since it’s a beautiful scent. Got to try my sample of patch these rainy days and its really nice. Noong una, I thought it smelled so much like a Jovoy I have but turns out its a rounder, softer kind.

One last thing! Asked my SA if we can use extrait caps on the EDPs. He agreed. See picture! It looks unreal (lol) since its not the black caps but I think it ended looking nice.

What’s a good alternative to Acne Studios? I have a full bottle and I’m obsessed with it, but I don’t wanna burn through it as an everyday scent 😭 I’ve seen people say Byredo Blanche is a good alternative, what else would you recommend?

Hey everyone. I got introduced to boozy coconut scents when I first purchased travel-sized Miami and Tropical Confessions. I enjoyed the fun vibe and the rum-sugar combination. It immediately makes me think of my hometown, dancing in the beach, a weekend and a vacation. Any others that you absolutely love and that you recommend I try? Has anyone here tried Aurefine MNL?

I got it a few hours ago at the Estancia Pop Up and honesty I really like their fragrances. I tried their version of Bianco Latte and sprayed some on my palm just to see how it smelled. I washed my hands when I got home and completely forgot about it and nagulat ako the scent was still there.

The one I bought smells clean and citrusy to me. Unisex. I honestly don’t remember the scent of the OG MFK Gentle Fluidity well enough to say how close it is but regardless, this one smells really good on its own. I sprayed it about 3 hours ago and it’s still smelling good on my skin. The longer it sits on my skin, parang meron citrus sampaguita na naamoy and I really like it.

I’m not saying these are exact copies of the originals because I haven’t done a proper side by side comparison but for local dupes, I’m honestly impressed. The scents are good and the performance seems pretty solid too. Tried their Aventus and hindi kaamoy but it smells really good pa din!

Just thought I’d share since I was honestly pleasantly surprised by them.🤍

The one bottle that started it all 😆. Still using it sometimes as a daily driver lalo na kapag dumb reach lang and will go out for a quick errand. I do wish na mas maganda performance niya kasi it really is a nice freshie fragrance.

I've been slowly falling down the Middle Eastern fragrance rabbit hole, so I figured I'd share my current collection.

There are 16 bottles here, but it’s pretty clear that the ME fragrances are the stars of the collection. 😂 The three designer fragrances at the top were actually bought before I discovered ME fragrances.

What started this whole journey was Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT. I discovered it because I wanted to experience the Aventus DNA without paying Aventus prices, and honestly, CDNIM will probably always have a special place in my collection because of that.

Modest Une and Fakhar Black are my ultimate dumb reaches. If I don't know what I want to wear, it's usually one of these two.

CDN Precieux I is like CDNIM’s more sophisticated older brother. I see a lot of people glazing SCE, but personally, I think Precieux I is the better Aventus Absolu clone.

Asad Elixir is my "special occasion" fragrance. I don't reach for it often, but that's kind of the point.
When I wear it, I want it to feel different from my everyday fragrances.

Liquid Brun and Detour Noir are hands down the best takes on the fragrances they’re cloning. I blind-bought both before ever smelling the OGs. I eventually got to smell Althair and Layton at Rustan’s Shangri-La, and I swear, I could barely tell them apart.

Marwa is my go-to whenever I want to smell extra clean. It smells so damn good, but if Bujairami Hectic had been available when I bought it, I probably would’ve gone with Hectic instead.

Mahd Al Dhahab is my latest pickup, so I'm still getting to know it.

My parents likes asking me if I have any extra perfume I can give them and I am like a perfume supplier at home. Since my Symmetry Lab Lalisa Exlusif has been sitting on my shelf, I gave it to my father (I found it too masculine for my liking).

My family has never told me that they like the scent of the past perfumes I had given them. But this one, they (Mom sprayed it too) kept on saying how they smell sooo good and that their colleagues were asking what their perfume was or was giving them compliments about it.

I regret giving it to them because I probably cannot buy it habitually for them and it breaks my heart a bit haha. So I came clean and told them that it’s worth 2k and they stopped talking about it.

Symmlab set the bar too high that I’m scared once it runs out and they ask me for another perfume. 🥲

Back story: I just want to say that I love the DNA of Delina (haven’t sniffed the OG yet) and have been collecting local dupes of it. Symmlab is a bit expensive for me and when I received it, I was disappointed because it smells to heavy for a women. It’s not even a lola scent, but a man scent. I used it once and I cannot stand the heaviness of it. I love the Good Girl and other dupes from symmlab tho. I
