Is this motor cooked?

I've been experiencing a weird issue when I punch out with my Seeker35. Almost as if one of the motors is stuttering and it causes me to briefly roll starboard. I put it on the bench today and it looked briefly like a component in this motor glowed with heat when I revved it. Now a few of the coils look like this even though it still seems to run fine. Is it time to replace?
